Allstate Insurance Agent: Rob Zollinger
I hope this review will help the next person who may choose to get insurance of any kind with Rob Zollinger's Allstate company. It is my opinion that Rob Zollinger is a less than honest business owner, who lacks transparency in his business practices. I was excited to get my car, and home owners insurance from Allstate, as they are an outstanding company with an excellent reputation, and line of products. But, after I gave them my money, and personal and financial information, I came to realize this was where the customer service ended. I ignored, initially, that it took forever for the agent to call, or email me back. I ignored that she made mention of her assumption of my orientation, and laughed it off. However, I noticed a general lack of attention to detail. And, when I visited the office the staff seemed disorganized, and the office messy. As a nurse, I recognize the absolute importance of patient confidentiality. I question if an office so poorly managed is taking the steps to protect their clients private information. My friend, who is also currently with this office, told me how her agent lost her doctor's note that was needed for her application, so she had to request another one. It appeared to me that there was a lot of tension in the office. Professionalism, fairness, transparency, and respect should be practiced within the business, starting with the owner. I work very hard for my money, and I do not want to give a penny more to this owner. It is no wonder this particular office has such low scores within the Allstate family. If you are reading this, and like me are wondering how to stay with Allstate, but not with Rob Zollinger, there is another Allstate office in Roseburg. I have several friends in the community who shared with me some information on the owner. I have to either decide to leave Allstate, or maybe call the Corporate office, and get my accounts transferred to the other office. I had to give one star to post this review, but I really feel it should be zero. I just want to let the readers know what I found out from the Allstate Corporate office. I can transfer my business to the other agency in town, but the monetary gain that this particular branch's owner (Rob Zollinger) receives from my policies would not transfer over, so I am going to cancel my car, home & life policies. I cannot in good conscience, knowing what I know on a personal level, continue my association with this particular branch of Allstate. Also, thank you Jim D. (Yelp) for sharing your unfortunate experience with Allstate recently, as it only solidifies my decision to leave Allstate.
