I would like to give a massive round of applause to this store manager and team for outstanding customer service. Tonight was actually my first night inside any Game Stop- I don't play the games, but my nephew does, and I was Christmas shopping for him. Anyway, I walked in with my PTSD Service Dog, and the woman in the aisle over started complaining to the manager about allowing "Non-service" animals in the store. I interrupted and assured her my dog was a service animal, showed her his ID, etc and she started cussing me out, demanding I leave, etc. While all this was happening my dog was very agitated, trying to get my attention and comfort me as he knew I was being triggered. The manager interrupted and redirected the woman, distracting her and taking her down a different aisle talking about sales. Once she was rung up and left the store, the manager came to me and personally apologized for the woman's harassment and bad behavior, assuring me my dog was welcome, and offered 10% off whatever I bought. It took me a while just reading titles and petting my dog to recover but once I got to the register with a game the manager gave 20% off instead of 10. This is compassion and good customer service at it's finest. Bravo Roseburg Game Stop.
