Ken Berley D.D.S.
In response to Deb's concerns and review. I am very sorry that her experiences were not as good as shefelt they should be. We are very surprised by this review as all of our patients have given us 5 out of 5 stars on Rateadentist.com. To address some of the concerns, I would like to apologize for not getting the preauthorization filed as quickly as she would have wanted. I am the only one that does "medical" billing and preauthorizations in the office and sometimes I do not get to the preauthorizations done the same day the patient comes in. I believe the preauth was not done until a week later. As her appointment was the end of January and she was seen again on February 12 for the services. She was advised that her Medical insurance would not cover the procedure but she insisted that a preauth be done before moving forward with the services on February 12th. I am not aware of any "files" that have been lost and in reviewing her record there isn't any treatment that has been "pushed" on her as she has not had anything done other than cleaning and a couple of other procedures she wanted. It would appear that Ms Deb's faults lie with me at the front desk rather than on Dr. Berley's abilities. I would direct your attention to the RateADentist.com website for a look at what our patients say about Dr. Berley and our team. Patty B.

Dr. Marcus Black
This a clinic which is reliable and good caring center. The complain I have is about the waiting time in the clinic, I had scheduled an appointment at 10:45 am in the morning and had taken half day off from my work. I was at the clinic by 10:30 but i had to wait till 11:15. I wish i was attended a bit earlier. The nurse was really co-operative and took good care about my teeth cleaning and made sure I was doing all right. Also once the teeth care was done the nurse who treated us insisted on taking another treatment and din't even give us a chance to say "NO" or atleast think about it.So I would suggest you to have buffer time in your schedule to wait and visit the doctor and also extra money out of your pocket to pay them.

Absolutely wonderful people and the best dentist experience I've had. "I've had my fair share." Just got through with a 9 month procedure consisting of two implants on the upper front. This took numerous visits and everyone made me feel as comfortable as possible. And at the end of it all the end result was awesome. With past dentists' I have just felt like a money tree, not with Dr King he was very open and honest and let me know all of my options. Couldn't of had a better experience

He is the BEST in NWA!!! I would highly recommend him to anyone. He's very patient, kind and gentle. He makes sure that your comfortable during your procedure and pain free. I had a very bad experience with a dentist pulling a tooth previous to him and it made very afraid of dentist...went and go a tooth pulled today by Dr. Ty King and he did wonderful!!! He's super with children. I can't say enough good about him!

Metro Park Dental Arts
I have gone to Metropark Dental Arts since they first opened. They have always given me excellent service. Since June 2016 my smile has been changing because my teeth are getting straightened through invisalign. Wow! What a difference! I highly recommend them.

Simply Endodontics Pa
This place is state of the art! My procedure was on an upper molar. The whole thing was near painless and as stress free as possible. I was positioned comfortably and informed every step of the way. All over and done in 1 hour. Just awesome technology!

We have been with this office for about 9 months and have become increasingly unhappy with everything about their service. They have lost files, neglected send in preauthorizations for weeks at a time and have pushed purchase of unnecessary services.

Smile Shoppe Pediatric Dentistry
My daughter has been seen in both locations and everyone was great at both. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants top notch dentistry for their child.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
