Austin-Spencer Automotive Collision Repair Center
These people may be awesome at fixing cars; I have no knowledge of that. But in terms of detailing...STAY AWAY.Had a Groupon - $80 basic detail for $40 - I just wanted a good wax on my car. When I dropped the car off I asked about how long it would take and the receptionist asked someone else and the response was "is this a Groupon or paid out-of-pocket detail?" I paid for an $80 detail, so I should get an $80 detail regardless if it was a Groupon or not.Long story short, when I picked up my truck they had some how scratched the ENTIRE exterior of my car! They had some how put black "streaks" on my exterior that seemed to be under the newly applied wax. There was a huge scratch across my back bumper that caused the bumper to be marred with permanent marking. The owner came out to look at the truck with me and basically called me a liar and said I was just trying to get him to paint my entire car for free. I said all I wanted was my car to be cleaner than I had left it. He said they didn't do that to my truck and that it was there when I brought it in. NEVER did he ask the guys who worked on my car and how would he know since he did not see my car before or during since he clearly did not work on my truck. So basically, after calling me a liar for 10 minutes he says to bring the car back and they will buff out all the spots. I brought it back the following week and when I picked it up it was better but I still have a ton a new scratched and knicks all over my truck and all the original scratches they put in my car that he refused to do anything about. Not to mention that my $80 detailing was awful. There a paperclip in plain site in the middle floor of the backseat - which should have been vacuumed, there was dust all over my dash as if they did not even clean it, and the streaks on my windshield were award winning.I paid them $40 to jack up my truck. BEWARE!!!

The worst service ever. Long waiting time because the cashiers are always slow. The line held back. Then if you decide to pay at the pump for faster service she cancels your transaction. So you have to go into the station. Im never going here again. Slow service and rude nosey cashiers.

The pain job is great, but there were still gab between plastic panels inside the car. Plus, they screw up the door remote control, and I have to lock the car manually (the system worked well when I left the car at the collision shop). They said it was not from their part. One break light does not work at all. I will not recommend this shop to anyone.

What I enjoy the most about Elmgrove is that when you call for an appointment, they usually can take you right away and get the car back in the same day

Great people, had an after market hood put on, cowl popping up on right side, would not touch it, said it was my hood not their purchase, taking somewhere else to do correctly..
Tips & Advices
Driver can find the cheapest gas prices by using an app to search for the lowest prices in their area.  Some apps such as Gas Guru take note of your location, and provide a list of gas stations nearby, along with the cost of gas currently being sold at each station.
There are things you can do to slightly improve the fuel efficiency of your vehicle. Make sure your car's tires are properly inflated, and treat your engine to regular tune-ups. Check your engine's air filter, since a dirty air filter will compromise fuel economy.
Drivers must shut their engine off before pumping gas because it's illegal to fuel with the engine running, even though this law isn't always aggressively enforced. Pumping gas with the engine running can compromise your safety. When your car's engine is running, it's possible for its catalytic converters to generate heat that could ignite gasoline, and start a fire.
Even though many gas stations have warnings advising you not to use your cell phone while fueling, the chances of cell phones igniting a gasoline vapor fire are extremely remote. However, fires at the gas pump may be caused by static electricity discharge. For safe fueling, it's recommended that you turn off your car's engine and avoid smoking at the pump. Also, you should never re-enter your vehicle while refueling.
Many factors contribute to the lack of uniformity in gas prices. Retailers consider their tax responsibilities when setting gas prices. States place varying taxes on gasoline retailers, and a state with higher taxes will have higher gas prices than a state in which the taxes are lower. Also, if a gas station is located in an especially competitive area, a branded operator may receive wholesale discounts that allow the station to sell gas at a lower price. This is done by brands to keep their gas competitive in tight markets.
