Just who is Reno Red? Look out the windows and gaze back into the time of the great cattle drives of the Old West. The Chisholm Trail was not far from right here. Among those hard working cowboys along the trail that carried half of all the cattle in Texas, was the great chuck wagon master, Reno Red. Cowboys knew when they saw his chuck wagon it meant there was going to be some good eatin' and tales to tell. For most cowboys the chuck wagon was truly their home on the range. And if the chuck wagon was their home, the cook was their king. Because the morale of the men and the smooth functioning of the camp depended on him, the cook's authority was unquestioned. Reno Red is our "Chuck Wagon Master" and the inspiration for our decor and our menu recipes. We have many of Reno's favorite original recipes. And just like Reno, we cook our food on an open mesquite grill for that true frontier cooking experience. Time has come for the tales of Reno Red to be told. We want our customers to know who that cowboy is in our logo. More tales to come . . .

We have eaten here many times. If you're looking for a real authentic Italian food this is it. Very few restaurants have authentic Italian food these people are from New Jersey. The owner is also the chef he is Italian and knows his business. He has been a restauranteur for decades. You will not be disappointed by the cuisine. Also the building is expanding that should show you how much in demand this restaurant is. The staff couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. These people treat their business as a family business, that means they care. So they're going to care about pleasing you.

The quality of the meat, namely the brisket is average at best. Its usually overcooked and the sliced brisket was either mushy strings or 1/2 inch thick slices; not consistent like Cousins. :(

i LIVE IN jUSTIN ORDERED DELIVERY. I WAS EXPECTING THE WORST AFTER READING THE ONE REVIEW. i CAN HONESTLY SAY I WAS QUITE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. ALTHOUGH I DO THINK THE FOOD IS OVER PRICED FOR THE PORTIONS YOU GET. (SMALL PORTIONS FOR TYPICAL CHINESE FOOD RESTAURANT) I ORDERED THE DINNER PORTION. THEY DID UNFORTUNATELY FORGET TO SEND THE EGGROLLS WE ORDERED BUT THEY IMMEDIATELY REFUNDED THE MISTAKE OVER THE PHONE AND WERE VERY KIND AND ACCOMODATING ABOUT IT. ;0) FOOD WAS PRETTY GOOD I WAS IMPRESSED OVERALL.

Had previously been here 3 times and loved it. Tonight service was horrible. Simple order 2 cups of soup and two tacos. After 45 minutes and the waiter claiming they were busy we left. Place was 1/3 full. No apologies just excuses. Two tables around us came in after we were seated and were served drinks from the bar and their meal. We really thought we had found a good pleasant place to go. No longer.

Called in my order To Go. They only had one person working the To Go area at Lunch and had to wait 6 minutes before she got off the phone to give me my order. Luckily the food was not cold and tasted good even though the portion was smaller than when I order in the restaurant.

You can get them mild or HOT HOT HOT, but the wings are great. They are friendly and fast too. Plus they have much more than wings to offer. My co-worker loves the shrimp and everyone loves the cookies!

Great food! Love the atmosphere and the people.
101 S Oak St
Positives: Brisket, atmosphere, decor, mac & cheese, mased potatoes, outdoor sitting and open bar area Negatives: Overpriced drinks, no salsa or hot sauce served with tacos, ribs, kids selection, bun on brisket sloppy joe should be toasted Went here for lunch on Friday and brought the family back Friday night to see if the food, atmosphere, etc... was any different than the lunch hour rush. For lunch on Friday, I ordered a brisket sloppy joe and side of mased potatoes with ice tea to drink. The brisket had a lot of flavor and I like the idea of serving it on a jalapeno butter roll, but the roll needs to be toasted in order to support the sloppy joe meat mixture. The bread became very soggy and a complete mess to eat. The corn cheddar mased potatoes were good and I like the way they serve the ice tea in a caraff. For dinner, we started off with the Indian bread, which is nothing more than a soapailla on steroids. Same texture, same taste, just not as fulffy as a soapapilla. The kids loved it of course because they could dip it in the honey, but I was not too impressed. I ordered ribs for dinner with a side of mac & cheese. I was really excited to try the ribs and was extremely disappointed when they came out. The flavor was off balance and they could have used more sauce. I had to spit out gristle in almost every bite, which was not very pleasant. The mac & cheese is nothing special but was still the best part of my dinner. My wife ordered the brisket tacos and wa soemwhat pleased with her dish, but felt they should have served three tacos instead of only serving two for the price. She was also disapointed they were not served with some salsa. My kids ordered the coboy grilled cheese and kids taco plate. The cowboy grilled cheese is served on texas toast with brisket, cheese, horseradish sauce, and grilled onions. I was able to steal a bite when my daughter was not looking and it was probably the best thing we ordered. I only wish it had more brisket and was a little thicker for the price. My youngest daughter's kids taco was hard to eat and reminded me of something you would get from taco bell. It was very liquidy and had teh consistency of a burrito. All in all, the place is not that bad to hang out, have a few drinks, and have and ok dinner. The outdoor fire pit, open area around the bar, and outdoor sitting is nice for the area. The food was a little disapointing because the menu looks so promising and you want the food to be good. When you drop $70 on dinner for a casual dining restaurant, you at least want to leave somewhat satisfied and wanting to come back again soon. The place has potential and I'm sure there may be better items on the menu other than what we ordered, but it will be a while before I go back and try anythign else.
