Law Offices of Nassim Arzani
Dear Team, Nassim ArzaniOur family wants to thank you so much for your expertise in this field. My wife and her family have been taken advantage by many lawyers "Claiming" we can help you, just for them to take their money and run. Every lawyer stating we must leave the country for 10 years, blah blah blah. This is when I went to the internet and did hours and hours of research on immigration attorney's. Each and every time the name Nassim kept coming into the research. So, I spoke to the wife and her family and we all made a decision to give this another shot. Let me first start by saying, any lawyer who states they can create your case and assist you and only charging you $1000 is lying. Run, Run and Run. (Your fees alone for coming here illegally is already $1000 paid directly to the state. My wife came here when she was three with her mother and father. Both Father and Mother , obviously coming in illegally. When speaking with Nassim she assured us, yes, I can help you or I wouldn't take your case. She did just that. It only took Nassim and her awesome staff 6 months to complete my wife's case, wife’s mothers case and fathers case. They all now have green cards and the blessing is. My wife's mother and father are in Mexico as we speak visiting with the loved ones they have not seen in 20 + years. Nassim, you are a true patriot and a lawyer with a pure, honest, loyal heart and passion to assist those who are here living in fear daily, Now they are, working, schooling, active members of this country. We stand and salute you Mrs. Arzani. You’ll always have a special place in the hearts of those you help. I wish I had the power to tell every single person in this world about you, however, I cannot, so this is the best I can do. God bless you and every aspect of your life Nassim. With Love and Respect The Arredondo/BiggsFamily =-)

Cullen Heather Law Office Of
Heather has been my attorney for many years. When I first picked Heather to represent me I had no idea how long my case would be and that we would have a relationship for many years. My case started as a legal separation, then converted to a divorce and then stayed a custody case. The separation/divorce part took a couple of years but the custody portion has lasted for over 10 years. Every time I think I am done with court…I am not. Heather has been there with me through it all. Every time I feel like I am going to lose my case (or my mind), Heather pulls me through and keeps my daughter with me. About 5 years into the custody battle, I thought I could do it on my own – I was wrong. I went to court – lost a huge portion of my case – and went back and got Heather back. She stepped in and immediately fixed what I thought I could do on my own. I feel like Heather is not only my attorney but also now a friend. I trust her to do what is best for me. She actually cares about my concerns and has spent many hours getting me through many battles. Her staff is also very supportive. I have dealt with everyone from the receptionist to her assistant and each one makes me feel like I am a priority in the office. There have been times when associate attorneys who work for Heather have appeared with me in court and I feel like each one has represented me just as strongly as Heather. I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for an attorney who is aggressive and compassionate. I would also recommend Heather to anyone who is looking for an attorney to represent the person in court not just the case.

Law Offices of Cleveland & Metz
I posted this same review on Yelp then tried to post it on here too but had to set up an account. Really didn't want to do that but I did anyway, so here you go - haha.I know, nobody likes attorneys, right? Well, I saw Charles Cleveland and he was prompt, gave me his attention, explained my options very clearly (in perfect plain English), and after working for me for 3 months, didn't even charge me.My job sent me to an industrial clinic for a hernia. After a few visits, they set me up with what I call a 'handyman' surgeon. I was very nervous about his skills, and couldn't find any info on him. I asked my workmans comp rep for a second opinion but got the runaround. So, I signed up Charles, and he got me set up with a specialist. He had to use some tough language with the WC rep, but that was okay with me if it got results. During the whole time, I was able to communicate with them pretty well too, especially using email and/or text.I got the hernia repair surgery done (and that sucked because it's very painful), took the time off work necessary, and now I'm back to (almost) my old self after 3 months.Since there was no permanent injury disability, and that meant there was no payout, Charles Cleveland said it was no charge. That's cool.Anyway, I recommend them because they're aggressive, communicate well, and seem to be good people.JP of Rancho CucamongaI copy/pasted this same review on Yelp then tried to post it on here too but I had to set up an account. Really didn't want to do that but I did anyway, so here you go - haha.

Law Offices of Cleveland & Metz
Charles Cleveland was highly recommended to me by an attorney that handles LA County Fire worker comp cases. Having to make a WC claim due to an injury and dealing with all that goes with it is no picnic. I am very fortunate that I found exceptional representation in Charles Cleveland. He was not always available to talk on the phone when I had a question. BUT..He was ALWAYS available by e-mail and would answer my question quickly. If he couldn't answer he let me know that he would check on it. I never felt like my questions got lost in hyper-space. He always answered even if it was just a "got it" I couldn't always talk to him but if I needed a verbal answer I could talk to one of his staff. He took care of issues in a timely manner and I never felt like I was "Just a File" He stuck with me through thick and thin. And believe me my case had it's ups and downs. My case closed yesterday after 5 1/2 years. He didn't rush me, he fought for me and didn't settle till it was right. I got a fair settlement. I would highly recommend Charles Cleveland to anyone. He is an advocate for the worker, keeps up on the ever changing Worker Comp. laws and keeps his clients updated also.

Law Offices of Nassim Arzani
Nassim and her staff are wonderful, I'll tell you I had an extremely difficult case. My previous Immigration Attorney working my case was failing on all ends, I was in Immigration Custody for 10 months before my family and I decided to switch attorneys and we decided to give Nassim a chance. I had a final Merits hearing scheduled on 11/3/2014 and we decided to hire Nassim on October 8, 2014. I was expecting Nassim to ask for a continuance since my evidence and documents were due on October 15th. But Nassim understanding my situation and being away from my wife and daughter for as long as I have stated she would work day and night if she had to, to insure all documents were properly prepared and submitted to the court by our October 15th deadline. Nassim not only completed everything in a timely manner, she met with my family over a two day period to properly prepare them for the hearing, and spent over 3 hours with me over the phone. I honestly did not think I was going to get a positive result in my immigration case, at least not unless I spent years going through the appeals process. She is honest, trust worthy, and seriously a miracle worker.

Law Office of Timothy Combs
We found Mr. Combs online through www.lawyers.com and that was the only luck from all the bad lucks that we had been facing on recent years. We never believe and think of once in our life we have to file bankruptcy for protecting and starting fresh our life after all the losses from business hardship. Not just as a good lawyer, we found Mr. Combs as our mentor as well. Mr. Combs has spent his time to discuss all details about our case legally and mentally. It really helps us to relieve from all our stressfulness of the situation we were facing. Before we decided to go with Mr. Combs we have e-mailed some other bankruptcy lawyers at the same time. Two did not respond; one offered appointment in one month later. Mr. Combs promptly responded & scheduled a follow-up appointment when we requested. On the initial appointment, we accidentally came too late. Mr. Combs nicely skipped his lunch for our appointment instead of rescheduling. This little incident indicates that Mr. Combs must care for clients' problems in order solve it correctly. We recommend and deeply appreciate Mr. Combs for his excellent services.

I am posting this review because it seems like only people who have had bad experiences will spend the time to post reviews. I admit that I did not want to get divorced and the last thing I wanted to do was hire an attorney. Like everyone, I had friends who had horrible experiences with their attorneys and in their cases. It is true that going through a divorce was still horrible – however, my attorney was great. Heather Cullen and her staff were wonderful. At the beginning I called 4-5 times per week. I was a total mess. But, Heather and her staff always took the time to listen to my concerns and help me feel better. By the end of my case I just waited for the office to contact me – I felt totally safe that they were doing what was best for me. I was helped by everyone in the office. Heather, Valerie, Jillian, Alexandria and Denise all helped me at one time or another. I never felt like I had to wait for my attorney to call me back (someone was always available to answer my questions). I will always refer the Law Office of Heather Cullen to everyone I know for any family law related matter.

Cullen Heather Law Office Of
I recommend Heather Cullen and her entire staff for any family law court issues. I started my case on my own while I was in another state. I signed everything and just wanted the case done. Then I went to Heather to try to fix what I had screwed up. I actually did this twice before I learned. I thought I could handle my case on my own because an attorney costs so much money. I decided to let Heather go and represent myself. Again, I went back to Heather to fix what I had screwed up. She was very patient and understanding. She immediately went into court to fix my errors. Because I had signed a few things without an attorney helping me I had quite a bit of work to do to get back what I had lost. But, her whole office helped me get through the process and at the end of it all I was happy with the outcome. Sadly, my divorce included custody issues so I will be needing Heather’s services for many more years. But, I have learned my lesson and I will never go at the family law process alone again – I will always have Heather or one of her attorneys by my side.

Heather Cullen has been my attorney for many years. She has been my advocate throughout my divorce case and my post-divorce custody and support hearings. I have been blessed by the hard work and dedication the office has shown to me and my children. I have had the pleasure of being represented by Heather for many years and also the pleasure of additional assistance in my matter when Attorney Duggan-Herd and Attorney Murphy each represented me and advocated on my behalf in my case. I watched Heather's firm grow from the small one office location during her early years of practicing law to her beautiful downtown building with her full office of legal staff and a wonderful support system. I feel like this office is part of my family. They go through the ups and downs with me and always care about the outcome and, most importantly, they care during the case and after. I never feel like I am alone during my case. Legal battles are scary. But, I feel that I am always protected by my family at the Law Office of Heather Cullen.

Greenberg & Greenberg, A Professional Law Corporation
After being arrested and facing some serious charges I had several consultations with criminal attorneys in the inland empire and to say the least I was not optimistic about my upcoming trial. I then went for a consultation with Phil Greenberg, after discussing my case with him and hearing his straightforward approach and what to expect I knew he was the one I needed in my corner. I retained their services that day and honestly felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. After that day Phil diligently went to work on my case and would contact me frequently to update me on the status of the case and what to expect next, this helped keep my mind at ease during this difficult process. The hard work and experience of Phil Greenberg paid off as he was able to get the district attorney to drop all charges, which to this day I am still shocked and will be forever grateful. If you find yourself in a position where you need a criminal attorney do yourself a huge favor and go meet with Phil.
Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
