Alpha Computer Ctr Inc
I broke the little cable that connected the "top case" of my Macbook Pro to the logic board, and called Alpha for info on how to replace it. I decided to try to find the specific cable rather than replace the top case. That meant being patient with the hope of finding a cable on eBay, or some place possibly selling specific parts. In the meantime the tech at Alpha guided me over the phone on how to start up and turn off my computer by touching two small nodes on the logic board so that I could still use my computer with an external mouse and keyboard! This was a life saver, and enabled me to resume business as usual until I found the replacement part and was able to install it myself. That was impressive to me. I have since returned to their office to have other services done by them.

Tech Store
The Tech Store is on a residential street next to Richland High. The back half of the owner's home is the Tech Store, so park on the street and walk around to the main entrance. You won't regret it. I recommend them anytime you need a computer part or service.I had a couple unrelated experiences with the Tech Store. They repaired my Desktop PC twice for two separate issues. The first time the motherboard had issues. After they replaced it, their supplier's motherboard fried as well. They did the leg work to replace it at no cost to me (they still could pull replace the part on warranty) The system is working better than when it was new.

Purchased a used Powerbook from the owner a couple years back, great service, item had no warranty and they repaired it at no cost, very up front and helpful. Would highly recommend. I live in portland now, just wish that level of service was available here. Thumbs UP. Keep up the great work guys!
