Saver Fence
They were great. Called us back right away and came out. Gave us a quote. We had to wait until the ground dried out before they could start. The fence is beautiful! They did great work and were very professional. Highly recommend

Saver Fence
I contracted with Saver Fence to replace the 6' fencing around my property. Their pricing was reasonable, they showed up when they were supposed to and did an excellent job of removing all the old broken down fencing. The fence they installed used all steel posts, custom made steel gate frames and they even sorted through the wood slats, not using several that were bad. I'm extremely happy with the work and quality, so much so that I'm contracting them to repair Gable Construction's bad work on another gate.

Affordable Fence
We contacted Affordable Fence earlier in 2013 for a quote. Anthony, the owner, come out and provided same in a timely manner. We were a bit vague originally and it I took us a couple of months to firm up our ideas. When we contacted Anthony again with our decision, he said no problem but he wanted to come back and go over it again. (I think he knew our "vision" was sort of a work in progress before we did!) He was meticulous and very aware of our ideas/needs & budget. He even suggested a finishing touch that made our fence better then we'd imagined. . . it's a BEAUTIFUL fence and enhances our back yard. NOTE: He is busy (good for him!) and we were not on a timeline which worked well because we watched the work in progress & he discussed various issues as we went. He's a mature, hardworking professional and reasonable, friendly person to do business with. Also, our daughter moved into a house in late 2013 and needed a smaller fence project done to complete a dog run area on one side of the house. This fence & gate are visible to & part of the back yard so she wanted a finished look. Of course we recommended Anthony at Affordable Fence and he knew just want they wanted , they agreed, and again A BEAUTIFUL JOB at an affordable price for her.

Affordable Fence
Anthony, the owner of Affordable Fence, is a small fence contractor who does absolutely superb quality work at a very fair price. I have used him for over 10 years on 4 different jobs for me.
Tips & Advices
Homeowners should work with a fencing contractor who is certified by or a member of one or more trade organizations, including American Fence Association or the North American Fence Contractors Association.
If a contractor requires an immediate decision, asks you to pay cash or doesn't provide an estimate.
  • Ask for portfolio examples
  • What's their reputation?
  • Is the work guaranteed?
  • Is there a warranty?
With exposure to the sun and the elements, wood fences are prone to cracking, warping and cupping. homeowners are encouraged to clean, seal and stain their fence at least every three years. Clean the fence with a specially formulated cleaner. After 15 to 20 minutes, use a pressure washer to remove any mold, mildew and debris from the fence. Then seal and stain the fence to protect it. An oil stain is recommended, as it penetrates the material and can maintain its condition for years.
Homeowners may use soap and water to clean off these materials, but they generally don't require much more than that. These options can be good for those that want a sturdy but low-touch fence.
