I've had 4 units since ~2013. No problem w/units. Only w/atrocious bookkeeping and owner's power trip. (1000 character limit here. FULL review on Google.) 1st problem 2 years ago. Sent usual multiple-months check. It was either lost in mail, received by owner and lost by him, or destroyed to charge late fees. I keep enough $ in my ck acct that I don't balance monthly so didn't see it wasn't cashed. 8 MONTHS later, I get a notice I am months behind AND have hundreds of $$$ in late fees. I'm at fault too for not verifying ck cleared, but to be charged months of late fees on multiple units when no attempt at all was made to contact me for 8 months is very sketchy. I had no clue anything was amiss & would have remedied it immediately. And did. When I pointed out their lack of notification + my record of excellent payment, I rec'd an answer that I must pay all late fees. For multiple units! Visited units a few mo's later and was still locked out of one after paying it all!
I contacted "Dave" this morning about renting two storage units and was told he wouldn't be able to meet me until 5 pm. I thought that that was a little late to be unloading a moving truck but decided to go with it since the units are close to the location of where I am staying. I was running a few minutes late so I called Dave to let him know I was on my way. He said "okay" yet called me within 10 minutes to say "You never showed up so you have to find somewhere else now." I told him we were seconds away from pulling into the facility. He then said "Well it's too late, I already left so I can't help you." He then went on to say "That's why it's called an appointment." In a very sarcastic tone. Seriously?? What part of "running a little late but on my way" did this moron not understand? If he didn't want to wait he could have told me when I told him I was running late...I was exactly 15 minutes late. I understand time is money but it isn't like I didn't contact him ahead of time. This guy clearly doesn't understand customer service nor does he need my money! I suppose after reading the other negative review I should consider myself lucky. Wouldn't have given it one star if not required.
THE WORST SERVICE EVER. THEY HAVE TO BE THE MOST UNITELLIGENT PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. THEIR ACCOUNTANT CAN'T KEEP BOOKS AND DOESN'T UNDERSTAND HOW CHARGE PEOPLE CORRECTLY. THE DIRTY AND CREEPY MAN THAT IS IN CHARGE OF THE FACUILTY IS VERY RUDE AND HAS NO CLUE ON HOW TO RUN A BUISNESS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FACILITY AS THEY WELL TRY AND CHARGE YOU FOR EXTRA MONTHS BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT DO SIMPLE MATH.
