Sun Medical Supplies
Poor customer service. Two different prices quoted over the phone. No call back when information requested. Was told they could not purchase a certain color, but when I called distributor color was available and at a substantially lower price.

Before I start my review, I want to say that the drivers up drop off and pick up equipment were wonderful; my complaint does not include them at all.I was prescribed oxygen by my pulmonolgist after a test indicated a drop in oxygenation when walking. Sometime, I was able to discontinue two medications and discovered that the problem had disappeared, as it was a result of side effects. This was verified by a follow-up appointment with my pulmonolgist who retested me to verify that the oxygen was not needed.I called Lincare and asked them to pick up their equipment; Jaylene said they can't do that unless they get the request to discontinue from the doctor. I told her that the doctor said I no longer needed it, to which she replied in a snarky fashion, "Oh, because you called and told him you didn't want it anymore?" I told that I had gone back to him and had a test redone. She then checked her own notes and discovered that my pulmonologist had indeed said that oxygen was not needed for me and verified that with me on the phone.Yet when someone came to pick up the equipment, I had to sign a form that included the sentence "I realize that this is against medical advice and I take full responsibility for my actions and release LINCARE from all liability that may result from my actions." While I understand their wanting release from liability, it was not against medical advice! They must have another form that doesn't word it in such a way that I am refusing treatment AMA! I told the driver that I cannot sign it that way because it is not true, so I crossed off that part and printed in big letters underneath the paragraph: NOT AGAINST MEDICAL ADVICE!"I will avoid using this place again if at all possible! Horrible manners and attitude by Jaylene!

Mohammad Osmani MD
Dr Osmani is absolutely the very best in ever way. He cares, he listens, and his compassion alone speaks for him. I also believe his team of employees are great too. Teresa is amazing and Alyssa is great. I recommend Dr. To everyone.

Sadly this place is very disappointing. I went there for help unfortunately they gave me the run around. My mother is a Medicare patient who I believe should have excellent care regardless all they kept telling me is she doesn't qualify... I get there are rules and regulations but these people NEVER even pushed the paperwork through so she can get a denial letter!!! So she can use an additional insurance they never cared for months they kept saying she doesn't qualify but only based on Ins and the stat levels... Never bothering to send the paperwork to Medicare only verbally so sadly my mother went months without oxygen because of them. She has major problems so either way had they pushed the pprwrk through she would've been approved. I pray nobody ever has to experience a sad place again. Btw the customer service sucked their first question is what kind of insurance do they have!!!! I only gave it a star cuz it WUDNT let me posted anything without it!!!

Sun Medical Supplies
After doing some Internet research, we went in to see the equipment we needed. The model we wanted to see wasn't out on the floor but the staff found it in inventory, unpacked it and assembled it just so we could "try it on". It was just right - the price was right - we felt right about it.

I experienced outstanding customer service during both of my recent visits. I purchased an electric scooter, which I then took back the following day. Turned out that my concerns with it were user error, and not an equipment flaw. In any case, during the second visit, the gentleman helping me was super nice. I noted to him that his scooter costs were far more than same scooters sold online. I totally get that they are in business to make money and that it's really hard for smaller local retailers to compete with mega online stores, such as amazon or walmart. I wasn't making a huge deal over it, but the salesman clearly wanted to see the customer leave happy, and so he spent a lot of time with me. When all was done, I left with a different scooter that they had a price tag of around $400 more than the one I purchased the previous day and was not charged anything higher that the first sale. Yes, I thought the prices were inflated to begin with, but he could have very easily just told me to go pound sand. He didn't. Something else I found to be nice is that should there be any warranty repairs needed, they will take care of everything, make repairs and deal with manufacturer, rather than possibly having to mess with shipping it out myself. It's a nice convenience. Overall, store was clean and well organized and they had lots of different products not found in local stores. They also are knowledgeable enough that other customers were able to share what they were in need of and the sales staff provided various options or suggestions.

Horst Rudrich DO
I have had many doctors in my 60+ years and Dr. Rudrich by far is the best !! He reminds me of the old days when a doctor actually went the extra mile for a patient, he spends time with you and doesn't rush his appointment !! He explains in detail all problems you might be having. His office staff are ALL friendly and take care of their end too !! Dr. Rudrich is a doctor you'd want your family to have !!

Redlands Yucaipa Medical Group
Dr. Roger Rains was my Dr. for almost 6 years. I had the best experience with him and with his staff. Unfortunately Dr. Rains has retired. The new staff and current Dr.'s in place with Redlands Yucaipa Medical Group at 245 Terracina, are rude. The recptionist, if this is what we want to call her, was callous, mean, uncaring, she alone has ruined my relationship with this medical group. I know I wasn't the first, because at the same time, she was rude to a patient on the phone. As I know, most of Dr. Rains previous patients were elderly, and having elderly parents myself, I know the extra care, and guidance they need at times. With the way this receptionist was talking to patients, you would think she was the president of a company. This person, receptionist, appointment setter, needs to hope and pray someday, her parents or family are not treated the way she treats patients.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
