T Adam Bowen DO
Over the past 4 years I have gone to 2 Optometrists and received 4 prescriptions for eyeglasses. None of these prescriptions allowed me to see distance clearly. I was told my distance issue was due to either polycarbonate lenses, the curvature of the eyeglass frames, cataracts, astigmatism, or that I wear the glasses too low on my face. 1 month after my last exam resulting in yet another pair of eyeglasses that didn't allow me to see distance clearly, I went to the Opthamologist, Dr. Bowen. He spent time asking me questions and carefully examined my eyes. He wrote an eyeglass prescription that differed noticeably from the 4 that the other doctors wrote for me. I had the glasses made, and as soon as I put them on I could see distance clearly for the first time in 4 years, and colors were now much brighter. I can't thank Dr. Bowen enough. If you want a precise, correct eyeglass prescription, go to Dr. Bowen.

Dr. William Bradley Heyerman, MD
Dr. Heyerman has done three of the three surgeries I have had. He has replaced both of my knees and just recently repaired my broken wrist. He also repaired my wife shoulder injury. I personally would not go to another orthopedic doctor.

Redding Allergy & Asthma Care
Not happy at all. I had an appointment at 8am and the office people showed up very late. I had to sit outside waiting for them to unlock the doors for 15 minutes after my appointment. And then another 15 minutes once I was inside for someone to even come to the computer to let me check in.

Singh, Paramvir
I was referred to Dr Singh last week. I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff when I called to make an appointment. For one, they actually answered the phone and I was able to talk to a real person! She listened when I explained my problem and even put me on a fast track list so I could be seen asap. I have not had my appointment yet but I am certain that I will be listened to and helped...just by the way I was treated on the phone. Looking forward to seeing Dr Singh

Prestige Urgent Care
My husband and I are not members of this clinic. I brought him in because it was after hours for our regular doctor, and his bronchitis had worsened into pneumonia. They were fantastic and I couldn't be more pleased! Thank you for your professional service.

Prestige Urgent Care
My husband & I are members of this clinic. We've actually had more occasions to see a doctor this past year than other years. They have been terrific! Super friendly staff & clean facility. We've gone with & without appointments & have been very pleased. We'd highly recommend them as a fabulous place who refers to specialists when needed. Their referrals are quickly acted upon by the specialists too. We've been pleased enough to extend a 6 month membership by renewing again but this time for an additional year!

Therapeutic Pain Management Medical Clinic
Dr. Amy Maher was a godsend to this clinic's patients(myself included) and they ran her off in 3 months. Employees treat EVERYONE as a drug addict or drug seeker and are notorious for Not listening to anything else regardless of your pain.

Patel Kaushik MD
their is something terribly wrong with dr patel, my wife just returned from a visit in tears explaining to me that he dr patel was extremely upset and began yelling at her stating why are you here what do you want me to do? it is noted that she has a terminal disease and he acted like she did something wrong by seeking his help. dr patel went on with his elevated voice putting her down for seeking his help .she even asked him why are you yelling at me, why are you so angry? he stated you already know what to do so why are you here. in my opinion this man should not be practicing medicine, i cant believe he would treat a patient that way. i have never heard of a doctor acting this way!

Prestige Urgent Care
I brought my infant daughter into this clinic not knowing it was a members only clinic. Instead of explaining things to me, the RUDE receptionist answered 2 TWO phone calls totaling about 5 minutes of me waiting at the desk while she helped the people on the phone, completely IGNORING me and my crying sick baby. I finally walked out. She didn't even ask if I wanted to join the group. My 2 month old baby might have bronchitis and this "health care" receptionist ignored her. I would NOT recommend joining this clinic unless you prefer the exclusivity of rudeness and lack of concern.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
