Needed work done on a catalytic converter and a severed exhaust pipe. They ordered a catalytic converter which was a direct fit at a cost that was exponentially lower than the "other guys" down the road. Not only that but they welded my broken exhaust together at no charge-free!I was charged for actual time to complete the work, and not additional by the book quotes. I payed nearly as much for towing via Olson Towing than the actual cost of having the catalytic converter replaced and exhaust pipe repaired. Thanks 1st Automotive. You treated me and my family more than fair....like family.

What an AWESOME repair shop!! I have not found a repair shop that is HONEST & TRUSTWORTHY at the same time! This place does not cheat you, the prices are more than fair. They show you what is wrong, they let me decide what to fix, Tom told me this is a must, not safe, this needs to be fixed, but can wait. They went out of there way to help, & did some little extra things and didn't charge for them. I will always take my repairs to you, all tell all my friends to go there too!!! Thanks Tom

Trent Daddys Auto
They are so friendly and very down to earth there. They are quick to tell you what is wrong and repair it very fast. They moved into a new building which is just amazing. Way more room to grow as a business and more hoists to get more cars done in a day. Their new location is right across from Dakota Craft or behind Tractors Supply off of Flying J exit. Hope people look them up and check out their facebook and website pages. www.TrentDaddysRepair.com

This place is awesome! I am so happy I found them. They are honest and reasonable in their prices. They also keep you informed during the whole process of your car getting fixed. They gave me the option of using new or salvaged parts which help keep the cost way down. I am very pleased with their service and will refer them to anyone that needs work done. I will definitely use them again. I am a very happy customer:)

Action Auto Repair
Super friendly and great service, very fair price and trustworthy. My van blew the rear transmission seal while we were on vacation in the Custer/Rapid City area. We are from Wisconsin and had no idea where to go. This place came recommended and we are so grateful! Repaired within 24 hours, and at a price at or lower than expected. Thank you so much Terry!!! Appreciate your honesty and trustworthy service.

J & J Truck & Auto Body
I spoke with Barb Wirth, the manager for Satellite Logistics and went over her party on Saturday. The feedback on the party itself was very good!!!! She said out of all the parties they have ever had, that this was by far the best and most fun. All of the employees are still raving about it. They never repeat a venue but want to come back again next year because it was so good.

My husband and I have used them for years. We have always had wonderful service and nothing but good things to say. They are honest and reliable. My son came from over 500 miles away to buy a vehicle from Tom and has been more than happy with it. I recommend them to everyone who asks me about a decent mechanic in the area.

Al's D & I Repair Inc
Al's D & I is the only place I would consider taking my Mercedes. As a woman I find it so refreshing to be treated fairly, not overcharged with unnecessary repairs. They're always within their estimates and extremely honest about what can or can't wait.

The Repair Shop
I've taken my truck here multiple times. Every time they get the problem solved and fixed fast (like a day or two at most) and as far as price goes they found me a rebuilt ac and installed it for less than the cost of the new part!
Advanced Auto Repair inc.
Very friendly staff. Great owner operator. Dave has been fixing my broke down fords for many years. I refuse to buy a Chevy because of the great service I get at advanced auto. I highly recommend this high performance shop!!
Tips & Advices
Driver can find the cheapest gas prices by using an app to search for the lowest prices in their area.  Some apps such as Gas Guru take note of your location, and provide a list of gas stations nearby, along with the cost of gas currently being sold at each station.
There are things you can do to slightly improve the fuel efficiency of your vehicle. Make sure your car's tires are properly inflated, and treat your engine to regular tune-ups. Check your engine's air filter, since a dirty air filter will compromise fuel economy.
Drivers must shut their engine off before pumping gas because it's illegal to fuel with the engine running, even though this law isn't always aggressively enforced. Pumping gas with the engine running can compromise your safety. When your car's engine is running, it's possible for its catalytic converters to generate heat that could ignite gasoline, and start a fire.
Even though many gas stations have warnings advising you not to use your cell phone while fueling, the chances of cell phones igniting a gasoline vapor fire are extremely remote. However, fires at the gas pump may be caused by static electricity discharge. For safe fueling, it's recommended that you turn off your car's engine and avoid smoking at the pump. Also, you should never re-enter your vehicle while refueling.
Many factors contribute to the lack of uniformity in gas prices. Retailers consider their tax responsibilities when setting gas prices. States place varying taxes on gasoline retailers, and a state with higher taxes will have higher gas prices than a state in which the taxes are lower. Also, if a gas station is located in an especially competitive area, a branded operator may receive wholesale discounts that allow the station to sell gas at a lower price. This is done by brands to keep their gas competitive in tight markets.
