Blue Flame Muffler & Tire Center
I started going to them about 5 years ago for basic stuff. They have great prices and they earned my trust. Another shop told me my daughters car needed a lot of very expensive work done. I got a few other estimates and Blue Flame was the best and they had a good deal on a set of tires for her car as well. When we showed up to get the car, the tires were on it but the rest of the work was not done. The mechanic said that everything was fine and showed the manager to verify. They saved us a lot of money which they didn't have to do. They could have done the work and I wouldn't have questioned it. Since, we have taken our cars back for other stuff. They are always nice, polite, and treat us fairly. I highly recommend them

Pro Tire-Quality Investments
I am unsatisfied, left the shop with issues and now have more issues and owner would not handle them or take credit for them. Needed an oil change, purchased a Groupon. Owner Harp worked on my car. Spent 5+ hours there, he brought me a stripped oil plug, told me I needed a new one to leave. Spent money to get another.. he put in a rubber boat plug, this was 4/20/16. Car went into the Honda dealership to be looked over before I travelled out of town. This was 5/12/16. The guys at the Honda freaked out. That part was not intended for my car. I now have additional damage, need an oil pan and possible transmission issues. I did not damage the plug. I was damaged when taken out. Contacted the owner, he said he didn't do it and he didn't know why I was contacting him. He took advantage of a naïve girl that doesn't know about cars. Then he accused me of knowing the car had issues and bringing it to him to intentionally blame him for damage already done.

Blue Flame Muffler & Tire Center
After my experience on the phone I decided not to try this place out. Before I wrote this review today I tried to find the owners information and was unsuccessful with that also. We just moved to Wake Forest and have a recall on a tire that we purchased in Washington State. We were told to go to any tire store and the mfr. will reimburse the store. The guy that answered the phone on 8/3/2015 said that they purchase through a distributor and they don't deal with the mfr. He said I had to pay for the tire.I said no I don't! the tire is recalled, will you call the distributer? He refused to call the distributor so I asked if I could get the number....the phone number was defiantly not a distributor phone number! I guess Blue Flame tire center does not want a new comers business! I called Discount tire and Eric there was amazing. Go to Eric at Discount tire.

Blue Flame Muffler & Tire Center
Not the best place to visit. Management there is so unprofessional. They act like you are bothering them with your car problems. They want to charge you for ordinary tire air inflation that their competitors do for free with a smile in their faces.Won't advice anyone doing business with this people.

Rockside Tire Sales And Service
Customer service was poor instead of putting tires on my truck he stopped in the middle of doing so to check air in his girlfriend's van and then proceeded to do so for about 20 minutes. Thinking I didn't know spanish started talking about me. Like I said never again

Atlantic Avenue Tire & Service
LOL at the online reviews! I was just looking up their number and was surprised to see negative reviews about this particular shop. I'm about to buy my 3rd consecutive set of tires from them as the prices are reasonable and when I need a rotate and balance I can usually get it same day and the equipment is state of the art. Of course, I'm not your average customer... I have a long commute and my tires/brakes/etc. absolutely have to be right on the money. They have not let me down after many, many visits. Not too many shops get my loyalty but they have earned it.But by all means, if you trust negative online reviews then please don't go here. It makes it easier for me to get an appointment as they can be quite busy some days!! Kind of like when my favorite restaurant is packed every day... I may need to go online and write a bad review about them to keep it from being so crowded!

Just Tires
Scheduled an appointment at 12pm, didn't even get my car in till 1245. Service took way to long for what needed to be done and ended up spending 3 hours in there for a wheel alignment that could have taken 1hr max. Very disappointed do not go here
Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
