Alternative Tree Removal
This company removed trees for our neighbor across the street from our house. They trashed ours and next door neighbor's grass, drove over it and left tracks. They parked in front of our driveway, we were expecting a delivery of mulch so I asked if they could move their truck, the worker I spoke with said he would move it in 20minutes.Several hours later I approached him again and asked if he would please move the truck and he said he would do it when the truck arrived. I told him I would like him to move it now because it wasmaking it difficult for us to drive in and out of our driveway. He just walked away and ignored me. This is a very rude and disrespectful company.

Chad Biggs event planning & Design
When we embarked on our journey to create a memorable wedding, my wife and I did not expect to find a friend and a TRUE professional in the business. Chad Biggs and his team have all of the expertise necessary to put together a spectacular ceremony and reception while allowing you to enjoy every second of the big day. While planning all of the details for our event, we felt like part of a team where all of our thoughts and interests were heard and things were completed VERY efficiently. Personally, Chad really cares about the service and final product that he delivers to a couple with great emphasis on the service. He got to know my wife and I beyond the planning and was nearly as excited for our wedding as we were when the big day arrived. Chad went above and beyond to make that day perfect, and this is no more evident than when the day arrives and his team executes the event flawlessly. We feel so lucky and blessed to have found Chad and put together a beautiful wedding.

Jim's Maintenance
My husband and I engaged Jim and his crew to prune old, woody azaleas and to take down a couple of small trees. They did an incredible job over a hot and humid 2-day period, and the results were phenomenal. They turned a section of our yard that had started to look like a jungle into a clean, tame area that we should be able to better manage in the future. This is the 3rd or 4th time we've used Jim's Maintenance and would heartily recommend him to others.

Jim's Maintenance
Jim is incredible!! Look no further because this is the man you should hire! He first did my moms yard. He cut down a lot of limbs off of her large oak trees. He was very professional and completed the job quickly and safely. When my husband and I moved into our new house, we had a huge yard of lots of dead bushes, shrubs, roots, you name it. I decided to call Jim and he came out very promptly to give us an estimate. He is very knowledgable when it comes to anything for your yard- not just trees! We hired him and he came out just a couple days later and knocked out our whole yard in just one day! He removed over 25 dead bushes and shrubs (and their roots). He removed a tree and pruned my three crepe myrtles. He also removed lots of dead roots out from the ground. He is quick, professional, safe, prompt, and very kind. He doesn't leave behind a mess and he will give you any yard advice/recommendations that you ask for. You can tell he really cares about what he does! Hire jim!

Jim's Maintenance
This is the second time Jim has done work for me. The first was removal of a pine tree after a storm. This time Jim cleaned up my backyard from house to creek bank. This area is about 1/4 of an acre and natural since it is next to the creek. Jim did an excellent job of cleaning up several years of limbs and natural debris. He also cleaned up the ivy and briers next to the creek. Jim was quick and thorough. When I got home I was thrilled with Jim's work. I called him immediately to say how happy I was. I will definitely hire him again for other work. I already have some projects in mind! :)

Arbor Barber Tree
in July 2013, this company removed an enormous tree from our front yard that has big branches over the house and had snakes in it and ground the stump. All that for a very competitive price and professional service.

Tips & Advices
Do your due diligence and always ask for proof of insurance and certification before agreeing to any work. You will also want to be on the lookout for telltale signs of scams and be cautious of any company that:
  • Will not provide you with a certificate of their insurance policy or only has general liability coverage
  • Declines to give you a written estimate for the job
  • Gives you bids that either seem very low or very high
  • Contacted you out of the blue to see if you needed their services
  • Has complaints against it from business bureaus in your area
  • Asks for payment before starting work
  • Doesn't have a fixed physical address
Tree service companies are also great places to get your wood if you happen to have a fireplace. Many tree businesses offer free delivery and stacking of hardwoods, such as maple or birch. These can make for the best firewood because they burn slowly and don't produce as much smoke as other types.
If you want to add to the greenery in your yard but you're concerned about the right species to plant or where to put it on your property, seek the advice of an arborist.
If a storm hits and damages your residence, a tree service professional is usually on your list of people to call for help after first responders and your insurer. A professional service can completely remove a tree or just prune and saw off its branches if a storm damages a tree. After sawing or destroying the tree, professionals can then remove any of the dangerous debris from your yard by hauling it off.
Some bugs burrow through the bark and damage hardwood and softwood trees. Depending on the species of trees in your yard and the region of the country you live in, aphids, the infamous emerald ash borer or other pests could destroy your healthy trees.
