If you live or work anywhere inside the beltline, this place is a must try! I have lived in Raleigh for over thirty years, but only discovered Finch?s about 3 years ago. Now I eat lunch there 2 to 3 times a week. Their daily specials are an incredible value. The food is good and the service is equally as good. Don?t be bashful. There are coat and tie patrons, blue collar patrons, and let?s just say extremely casual patrons there all the time. If you like breakfast for lunch, you must try the ?Big Mans Breakfast? even if you are not big, or not a man. George, the Griddlemeister, will make it fresh for you in no time at all. . If you like hash brown potatoes, as I do, these are the real deal. I guarantee you will not leave hungry. I also love their chicken club sandwich. I have never seen any employee with a bad attitude, in fact, quite the opposite. They are always friendly, and if you cannot decide on your meal, they are patient. If a gourmet meal is what you are after, your in the wrong place. However, If you enjoy good, old fashioned diner style food, this is the place for you.

Tasty food, fair prices. The menu isn't extensive but they do everything on it right. The owners give heavily to charitable causes, so that's a plus in my book, too. I only know the Raleigh location and you might want to carry out instead of eat in because the place is really small.

I recently had my wedding reception at Tir na nOg Irish Pub and it was a dream come true. They did everything. The flowers/decor was extremely reasonable in price and set up incredibly beautifully. Annie Nice was the coordinator at Tir na nOg and she was extremely attentive to all of my wants. The mood was perfect. There were great Irish dancers and musicians already performing, so we didn't have to pay for the entertainment (did it on a Saturday). The cake was the most delicious cake I have ever had in my life and she set up all of the food (amazing too!) and even made sure everyone had plenty to drink. She even cut and distributed the cake at no extra cost! Seriously everything I could have dreamed of and more. Definitely consider Tir Na nOg for anything you may need!

This is my first time reviewing / informing but felt compelled by some of the mis-information posted here about this great Raleigh tradition. For the folks who are whining about the Cary Char-grill being different, there is a good reason, it the first one that is a franchise and not owned by the original owners. My family and I ate there the other night and had the chance to speak to Kurt, one of the owners. This is their first franchise store of many more in the future. Yes, it is a different concept than the stand-alone stores but is meant to be easily repeated in more available locations. The food is still cooked the traditional Char-grill way (My wife and kids loved it) and their burgers are far and away the best in town. The only drawback we found is that because they do not cook ANYTHING ahead of time, you have a wait of 7 to 12 minutes, but everything comes out piping hot and is great. Secondly, yes, I agree with the other old timers, I wish they were still able to cook your burger to order (medium, medium well etc) but that was not a change by Char-grill but by the state hlth dept. And ""shakes too thick"" as a complaint!? McDonalds is right down the street...... Thanks for coming to Cary Char-grill and good luck witht he franchises!

My fiance and I just ordered delivery from here tonight. My mom had been there over the summer and told me to go but I hadn't gotten around to trying it. Oh my goodness. I'm so glad I did. It's a little pricier than I normally like to pay for delivery but it is very VERY worth it. I ordered the Shrimp Parmesan and my fiance had the Chicken Parmesan. It came with side salads and two garlic knots for each entree. You also get a choice of pasta with it. I definitely loved the italian dressing with the house salad. The portions are huge so you will definitely have leftovers. The Chicken Parmesan would most certainly feed two people. I was a little wary about spending the money for takeout but we did and felt no guilt after the fact! Everything was very flavorful. I can't comment on the interior of the location but I have heard positive things. It was REFRESHING to not have the same ol same ol (Olive Garden etc)\r \r I will be spreading the word for sure about this place!

Please do not trust the one-star review! Sounds like sour grapes, as the user admits they did not even dine there. Dos Taquitos has such a fun atmosphere, delicious food (large portions & good variety), and great drinks - it's the perfect place to grab dinner with friends. Some of my favorite menu items are the chicken tortilla soup with avocado, steak tacos, lamb birria - but nothing I have tried here has been a disappointment. My only gripe is that service is not perfect, but the food and atmosphere more than makes up for it!

My husband and I moved from the San Francisco Bay area where great Thai food is easy to find. We tried a lot of restaurants in Raleigh and Cary hoping to find something that compared. Taste of Thai is it. Great, authentic Thai food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is nice as well. It is quiet with very private booths and nice decor. The staff are very attentive, and good with small children.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Don't be put off by these few snarky reviews complaining that this person was curt or that time there was a wait or there wasn't enough parking or they didn't like the music that night. I even see one in which the person says the food was 'very, very good and a good value' but they didn't enjoy the music. That's too bad in two respects -- one that he/she didn't enjoy the music (always a dice roll, I suspect; but if you're worried, go earlier.) and two that the person gave the restaurant a 2 even though he/she said the food was fantastic. Fact is, this is a one-of-a-kind restaurant with superb cooking, great value and wonderful atmosphere. I've been coming for years and have watched it change and know that Arthur Gordon puts his heart and soul into this. There must be a pretty good reason for a restaurant to thrive with one owner since 1975. Yes, sometimes it is crowded and there's a wait -- that's because it's good. That's because so many people come. And yes, wouldn't a lot of places NOT in a mall love to have parking. But this is a superb restaurant -- the food is consistently excellent; wait staff professional and presentation excellent.

This place was awesome. We stopped there for our lunch break while visiting the Marbles Museum. The waitress gave my 3 year old daughter FREE applesauce as an appetizer AND gave her TWO free refills. The biscuits were great, as was the rest of our meal. The waitress took extra care of our daughter and us. The food was good, and we all left VERY full. Our friend's meal came with dessert and since the serving of banana pudding was ""smaller than normal"" the waitress brought 2 portions. She even brought us a pitcher of ice to fill our water bottles with. And they have the ""good ice"" that my wife likes- the quarter inch or so cubes like Sonic has. We WILL be going back next time we visit the museum!

Bloomsbury Bistro is a first class restaurant. The food and service are always excellent and the menu is updated on a regular basis. Even though the area has gotten a number of new and interesting restaurants in the last few years, Bloomsbury continues to outshine for atmosphere, service and food.
