I truly respect the professionalism displayed by everyone at the Law Corner. The timely follow-ups, the explanations, and the common sense approach, Mr. Demidovich preaches and the Law Corner practices were paramount in arriving at the solution I’d sought for over 10 years! Mr. Demidovich took my case on short notice and worked with me on a compensation plan that was affordable and feasible. He worked with me when other Law Firms wouldn’t.I can’t emphasize enough how grateful I am for the professionalism, the common sense approach, the bluntness, the fairness, the affordability, the care and the superior service Mr. Demidovich, Ms. Kelly Crecco, and the attorneys at The Law Corner demonstrated while working on my case. Their work was awesome and their representation was outstanding. If you’re looking for an ethical, professional, affordable, law firm with seasoned attorneys who will fight to protect your interest, look no further than Mr. Brian Demidovich and the The Law Corner!

Brian is straight forward, honest, and very direct with his clients, he protects their interest with passion and integrity. Brian and his team make sure that the outcome of their cases are as good as possible without making promises that they cannot uphold. He tries to avoid court as much as possible as in his opinion no one ever truly wins. He is right in saying that it is costly, most times neither party gets all of what they are looking for, and the amount of stress is tremendous. However, if all other options are exhausted, he will fight for his clients’ interest in court highly professional and if needed “to the bitter end”. He shows up on court day extremely prepared and organized. It becomes quickly obvious that other attorneys respect him and his team very much. His knowledge, experience, and reputation lead more often than not to an agreement between the opposing counsel and him before one even has to appear in front of the judge.

Tips & Advices
Each state has different mandates on how child support is determined. But there are some basic factors that underline how costs are determined in each state, including:
  • Income level of parent that needs to pay support (in the case of joint custody, the costs are determined by income of each party and the percentage of time the child spends with each parent)
  • Financial needs of child
  • Child’s standard of living before the divorce occurred
This is a divorce in which one party does not have to prove that the other’s actions lead to a deterioration of the marriage. The reason for divorce is listed as "irreconcilable differences" or an "irreparable breakdown of the marriage,” meaning the marriage was no longer working and could not be repaired.
Family law attorneys are helpful in cases where the two parties are not on amicable terms. The lawyers can act as intermediaries between the two parties and help them come to any settlement agreements, however long that may take. Lawyers can also help parties navigate tricky state laws regarding settlement agreements and child custody, thus expediting the process.
A contested divorce is one in which the parties cannot agree on either the necessity of the divorce as a whole, or how assets (money, property, etc.) and child custody should be split between them in the divorce. An uncontested divorce is when the parties are in agreement on how assets and child custody will be split between them. These divorces can sometimes be handled without hiring a lawyer.
It is possible for a couple to get a divorce without hiring a family law attorney. If the two parties are in agreement on how finances, child custody, properties, etc., will be split, then they can file the necessary court documents themselves and avoid the services of a lawyer.
