I rented a skid steer, and told the sales rep what I was doing with it. I paid a 1 day rental plus a deposit. The machine worked great but the Bolt-On Tooth Bar snapped when I put the bucket in the down position with no load on it. When returning the item I was informed that there was no damage wavier and I have to pay for the replacement cost. But I was informed at the time of pick-up the tires were the only thing not covered and now that something is broken, I'm told nothing was covered, because of the type of work I was doing with it. My complaint is: while trying to come to a resolution, the owner who at the time couldn't give me a price on the broken tooth bar starts getting loud, having a poor attitude and becoming very defensive with me. I explained that I feed off of people and if you get loud I will do the same so lets cam down and come to a peaceful resolution. Instead, he tells me I'm threatening him so I said "send me a bill, you have my address" and proceeded to leave as he then says "yea like you'll pay for that". What is wrong with people, I just was asking questions about the damage wavier and wanted to know why I wasn't told at the time of pick up that nothing was covered on the machine because of the type of work I was doing (they omitted that information and never disclosed that no damage wavier could be offered). I looked up the Bolt-On Tooth Bar on Idaho Implement, LLC and it's priced at $286.90. A fair resolution would have been to split the cost. Machine: 5 STAR - Customer Service: NO STAR
