On Point Primary Care
I have had exceptional health care service from Dr. Thomas. His practice's refreshing approach to providing direct healthcare service removes all the middle-man expense. Dr. Thomas has great depth of knowledge in his field, genuinely cares about your health as a whole person. His availability is remarkable; I have been seen either the same day or within 24 hours every time I have requested an appointment. I have subscribed for 9 months now, have cut my co-pay and prescription costs by nearly 75% and am grateful to be receiving much better care at a fraction of the cost.

Very nice. Good bedside manner, answers questions. Staff is very nice. Orthopedic surgeon who list sciatica as something he treats. I have herniated disc and now I have to wait several more weeks with pain to see another surgeon because Dr. Davis doesn't do back surgeries. Would have been nice to know at first so I could have sought the help I needed quicker. Good Dr.just don't go there if it's for your back.

I just spoke with Linda about the Rx discount cards for their patients who are without prescription coverage. Even though, the office doesn't receive to many patients in this category, she said she would place these cards on a counter for people who no not have Rx coverage. Thank You Linda!

Dr. Choing and her staff were extremely professional & attentive to my medical issues, which are a lot! She was dedicated to getting to the bottom of my weight loss & did not leave any stones unturned. I would recommend her & her office to anyone that can get in to see them.

I have been coming to see Dr. Jacobs for nine months. I have absolutey no complaints about his office as of now. The only thing that would make visits a little easier would be if he accepted credit cards!

I have been coming here for about a year now. I don't know if I could really put my finger on what I like the best about the office, but I always have great experiences here and they're really nice.

I like Dr. Jacobs. He is a stand out doctor. He is mainly concerned with finding the problem and embracing solutions. He doesn't just treat every case with the same drugs.

The best part about going to see Dr. Jacobs (other than the treatment) is the check in and check out process. The staff members are kind and it is quick and easy.

He has treated me for different things and has helped just about all of them. I no longer take any prescription drugs and feel a whole lot better.
Tips & Advices
A child should see his or her pediatrician frequently during the first few years. Once the child reaches age 3, parents should schedule a doctor's visit at least once per year. Before that, however, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests parents arrange visits according to the following schedule:
  • 2 to 5 days old
  • 1 month old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 24 months old (2 years)
  • 30 months old (2.5 years)
No, parents should call 911, an emergency physician, or a pediatric emergency physician if a child suffers an acute illness or injuries. Doctors in these fields are more qualified than pediatricians to handle emergency situations.
A well-visit is a routine visit with a pediatrician to track a child's development, discuss medical or emotional concerns, and receive immunizations and medical advice.
Yes, pediatricians provide immunizations for infants and children up through 21 years.
No, pediatricians do not have to be board certified. They're only required to have a state license. However, certification indicates a dedication to studying pediatrics beyond the requirements.
