This was hands down the best experience I've had with a local business in my life. I called the first Google search for a plumber in my area (Patterson Plumbing) and had a horrible experience. They told me they would have to dig outside to fix a clogged line and quoted me $2100. I told them no and I searched Google and called around to find someone who would run a snake. Paul, the company owner, came to my home the same day. He quoted me $110 over the phone to run a snake, which was by far the cheapest quote I got. Because of that, I felt a little uneasy and wondered if I should go with a bigger name company, but I decided to do it. That was the best decision I made. Paul came to my house exactly at the time he promised. He spent 2 hours at my home, ran the snake 3 team through a toilet, replaced my seal around the toilet, and kept testing and testing to ensure the issue was fixed. He informed me that the clog is getting better, but still there. I do not have a cleanout outdoors, only in the basement. Paul informed me that he would be happy to come back tomorrow and use the snake from my basement with one of his employees since it is very hard to reach. He will be back at noon tomorrow. Regardless of whether he is able to fix the issue himself, I can't be happier with his service. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. He also gave me great advice in the event that the snake doesn't clear it tomorrow. He provided me with the number of another plumber who can run a camera in my pipes to find exactly where the roots are growing and can tell me where I can dig myself to expose the line outside so Paul can install a cleanout at a very cheap price. When Paul was leaving, he didn't even ask for payment. I couldn't believe it and insisted I pay him tonight for both the charge of tonight and what he expects tomorrow to cost. He refused to take it and told me he will only charge me $35 to come for an hour tomorrow and use the snake in the basement with another employee. I seriously cannot believe his friendliness, knowledge, and level of professionalism. I will be recommending Paul to all of my friends and use him for any plumbing needs in the future. I've never spent the time online writing a review for something, but I was so amazed with his service that I am writing this just a few minutes after he left. If possible, I will post an update tomorrow as well. Don't hesitate to use this company instead one of the big names in Pueblo.

DeVries Plumbing & HVAC
Nick was referred by another excellent contractor that my wife and I use. Nick get's the four stars for promptness because he was a little late, but he did call to let us know that he would be late. Nick took care of several plumbing concerns we had and we're totally satisfied with Nick's work. In addition to his expertise, Nick made recommendations that saved us money, to me this was a genuine sign of honesty. Nick is very knowledgeable, completed the tasks in an acceptable amount of time, explained what he was doing and why, and he's very friendly. I will definitely be using Nick for all of my future plumbing needs. One other thing, some of the work Nick did was to fix issues created by general contractors who claimed they were qualified to take on plumbing tasks, so the lesson I've learned is you get what you pay for, my recommendation is to go for the licensed individual.

Bruce Lee Plumbing has done 2 jobs for me in the last year and I can only say great things about this company. I was never disappointed in fact they went beyond what is expected and charge me reasonably well. Bruce Lee is professional and true to his words. I will never use another plumbing company for the unexpected things my house will throw at me. I know I can count on them to do the job right, on time and reasonably priced. Thank you!!!!

Bruce Lee's Plumbing & Drain Solutions
I was sadly disappointed. I kept calling to get work done he never showed up. I had paid for services but he never completed the job. I will never prepay again. It was like all he cared about was his end not what he was contracted to do. I waited over a year for him to make things right. He did nothing to remedy the situation. I have only one solution is small claims court.

Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
