John S Simonian Attorney At Law
Bankruptcy I feel was the most humiliating thing I have ever had to do, there was no choice, I researched many attorney's and just kept putting it off, I heard about Attorney Simonian through another attorney I worked for, I finally made the call and Lisa is the first woman I spoke with, I was in tears, she was so kind, friendly and she made me so comfortable that I knew this was the Attorney I was choosing, I got an immediate appointment and she was very thorough about what I needed to bring with me, appointment day came and I was visibly shaking as I entered his office, I must say that Attorney Simonian was extremely kind, explained the whole process, warm and welcoming and very professional, he even got me to smile, the whole process went quickly, smoothly and before I knew it, it was over, anyone who is going through what I went through, I URGE YOU TO CALL ATTORNEY SIMONIAN, HE AND HIS SUPPORT STAFF ARE THE BEST, HE IS EXTREMELY REASONABLE IN HIS PRICE, HE TOLD ME WHAT TO BRING, I DROPPED EVERYTHING OFF AND HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND, my case was over before I knew it, My only regret is I let the Embarrassment keep me from calling sooner, I HAVE THE UTMOST RESPECT FOR ATTY SIMONIAN, HE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST IN HIS FIELD AND HIS FRIENDLY STAFF MAKES YOU FEEL SO COMFORTABLE, THANK YOU ATTY SIMONIAN FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR ME AND MY CASE, I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND HIM 10000%; PLEASE IF YOUR IN THE SAME SITUATION, CALL HIS OFFICE, I NOW HAVE A FRESH START AND I OWE IT ALL TO HIM, DON'T WAIT, CALL HIM AND LET HIM HELP YOU, HE CHANGED MY LIFE AND I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL.

John S Simonian Attorney At Law
I never thought I would say this about a lawyer, but Atty Simonian was everything I could have hoped for and more. I was humiliated, depressed, and embarrassed to even be thinking about declaring bankruptcy, but John understood that bad things happen to good people, and even to smart people who make mostly good decisions along the way. He and his staff treated me with dignity and respect the whole way through, which made the entire, awful process so much more palatable. I know he probably deals with hundreds of these cases every week, but I always felt like a real human being to him, and an important one at that. He answered my (many) questions promptly, and anticipated and answered ones I didn't know or think to ask. He kept me well-informed, and made sure I knew when not to worry about something I got in the mail. He gave me good and important advice, and guided me through the process so well and so much more comfortably than I could have imagined. When my situation changed and got even worse because I was about to lose my job, he was proactive and reached out to me before I even had a chance to tell him. He had seen on the news that the company was closing, thought of me, and contacted me with suggestions ready on how we could handle it and make it work so that I didn't have to stress about it more than I already was. I am still not happy that I had to take this road for myself, but I am so, so happy that I picked John as my partner to see me through it. I couldn't have asked for better!!!

John S Simonian Attorney At Law
We would like to take a moment to recommend John Simonian as an exceptional bankruptcy lawyer. We cannot begin to tell you how low we felt to come to the realization that due to our own poor planning and health issues which reduced our income to one paycheck, we were in financial ruin. We sought out high interest loans and even thought about letting our home go to repossession, with little time left we found an ad for John Simonian in our local village paper. Feeling we had nowhere else to go, we gave him a call, within days we were sitting in John's office going over our very limited options. Our goal was to try and save our home and continue to pay as much as we could to our debtors. John put us in a position where we could keep our home, and pay as much of our debt back as we possibly could and keep a certain amount of our dignity. John was very clear on what we needed to do to succeed, there were things we had to change in regards to understanding our financial responsibilities. After 3 years of being in the program John had set us up in, and having been released from our bankruptcy we could start new and since have focused on being fiscally responsible so as not to fall into the same situation again. Having gone thru bankruptcy is something that is always in the back of our minds, but due to John’s compassion for where we were at that low point in our life and his professionalism and knowledge, we have been able to go on with our lives. Thank you.

Arthur E Chatfield Iii Pc A Professiona
I own a 1936 historical dining car, The Silver Top Diner, which was moved from Providence, RI due to Eminent domain in 2002 and I was asked by the City of Pawtucket to moved my historical dining car to Pawtucket. I ended up having to fight the city of Pawtucket for many reasons which they didn't come through with promises to help me rebuild, the case went on for 11 years. In 2012 with Arthur Chatfield by my side, Arthur won in a jury trial for me, the trial lasted 5 days and the jury decided in my favor but 3 weeks later the judge overturned the jury's decision, now Arthur has to fight my case all over again! This is Rhode Island, you can't fight City Hall and win! Arthur is still my attorney and our retrial will be coming up soon. Arthur is a great trial lawyer, he is not like other attorneys, he fights very hard because he cares for his clients, he has a big heart. Arthur does other kinds of cases, criminal, personal Injury, Divorce and trial Attorney. Attorney for over 24 Years. Not long before my case Arthur battled cancer 2 times and was just on the mend from his ordeal, even tho he wasn't feeling his best he still fought and came out a winner! I think Arthur is a hero, he stepped in to help me when nobody else would, I tell him he has the heart of a lion because he stands up for righteousness and will fight when others back down! You are a person to Arthur, You are a person to Arthur, he's compassionate, caring and stays in contact with his clients.

John S Simonian Attorney At Law
I met Attorney Simonian in July of 2015 and whenever I think back all I can do is smile. We all know trying to find an attorney who is personable and empathetic is almost impossible now. Well, after my first consultation with Attorney Simonian I knew I hit the jack pot because he is just that. For instance, what Attorney do you know would let you call them at 3:00am in the morning when Wells Fargo sends their repo man to reposes your car. The repo man was determined to take the car and I was determined that he wasn’t. Thankfully, Attorney Simonian advocated for me and I got to keep the care, especially, since it was necessary for my job. Also, there weren’t any surprises when going to the hearing(s) with Attorney Simonian. He kept you informed of what was going on, throughout the bankruptcy process. Another thing, you didn’t have to keep calling the office and no one would call you back, you always got a call back. But, for those of us who preferred our questions or concerns addressed via email it’s available and the response time is quick. Also, I don’t want to overlook the assistants in the office either, they are just as friendly and helpful as Attorney Simonian. So, If you are looking for a bankruptcy attorney I highly recommend Attorney John S. Simonian, he’s the best!

The Law Offices of Kelly McKenna Cournoyer
I was lucky to find Kelly at a time when I nearly gave up hope of pursuing my SSDI further. I had done the first 2 rounds of the application process myself but knew I needed representation if I had any chance of being successful at the hearing. I knew that my complicated and unusual medical history was a lot of information to be presented and understood. I had gone to a large law firm who refused to take my case, as I guess I didn't fit their profile or my case looked like too much work.Having dealt with many Dr visits over the years, I feel I am able to immediately know if a medical professional is actually listening to me with open ears and not just sorting through my words to do a quick screen. ..When I met Kelly I knew she was listening from the beginning. She was candid about my chances, and explained every step of the process. And she was the first person I interacted with ....from SS administrators and potential attorneys in the almost 3 year process...that was caring and professional and not remote and machine like. She was extremely responsive and clear, and is very experienced ,and up-to-date in disability law and understanding SS processes.I only wish I had found her earlier in my process!!

The Law Offices of Kelly McKenna Cournoyer
In 2011 my daughter became disabled she hired a lawyer from the TV this attorney wanted my daughter to get do all the leg work than when it was time for court that lawyer had another attorney show for the case which had no thoughts to give and no questions ask and hardly any of the material that was supplied of course the case was denied We had asked other attorneys about taking the case and with the Judge that was still on the case they said there was no way they could win I came home in distress and sat down and checked out the computer and there she was I called Kelly and within a short time we got to meet her and she took my daughters case. She did what so many lawyers said it could not be done Kelly took the case to court and with all my daughters information not half of it which was given she had all the information we had she is such a caring attorney and so smart she knows what she is doing if you truly need someone that you need to fight for you please don't go to others when I can honestly say your troubles will be gone and you will have the right to be on disability

The Law Offices of Kelly McKenna Cournoyer
I'm a US Air Force disabled veteran and I cannot say how grateful I am to Kelly McKenna for not only representing me with my social security claim but the professionalism and experience I received from her firm. I visited Kelly initially to sign releases giving her authority to obtain whatever she needed to build and present my case to Social Security. Kelly took care of everything, the only thing I had to do after the initial meeting was to show up at my hearing in front of a neutral judge along with my attorney (Kelly) and the attorney for Social Security. Kelly spoke on my behalf and after the hearing I learned that we had received a 100% fully favorable decision on my behalf. In addition to that ruling Kelly had argued that I be retroactively paid from when I filed back in 2012, but was denied. Kelly did not take my case on until 2014,and I received my back compensation this month. The whole process went faster than I expected.I highly recommend her firm..Thank You -Patrick Olsen

The Law Offices of Kelly McKenna Cournoyer
I had a very complicated case, I even had a had a previous attorney for this very case who it was necessary to part ways with, due to his dropping the ball. After that I continued on my own due to the difficulty in finding a new attorney, even some that advertise on TV, all thought my case was too complex. I found attorney Kelly McKenna Cournoyer, read online reviews, one in particular, was what I needed to know, she was and is, an attorney who cares about her clients and listens. She isn't afraid of a case with a lot of medical records, years of it in my instance, or going to bat for me with the SSA office on many occasions. They can be a tough office to deal with, and she never let me down. Something that is very important if you are in pain and need someone who will work hard for you and won't treat you like a number, or as if you are bothering her when you email or call. In short, she cares, listens, has a diamond skill set of knowledge on SS, and got the job done for me.

John S Simonian Attorney At Law
I was in dire straights financially and did not know where to turn. My debt was piling up due to poor planning/decisions. I am offered a legal plan through my employer. I was referred from a non-bankruptcy attorney to Mr. John Simonian. From the moment of my first phone call to the office, to dealing with his staff and meeting Mr. Simonian himself, I was very pleased with he and his services. He is honest, dependable, reliable, educated and an expert in the field of bankruptcy and other legal matters. He answers all questions you have extremely timely and professional, whether via phone and/or e-mail. He walks you through the entire process, which can be scary and confusing at once. Even after my chapter7 bankruptcy was discharged, he was still available to answer any and all questions I had. He goes above and beyond for his clients. His education, background and knowledge is superb and I would HIGHLY recommend John Simonian for all your legal needs!!MD - Smithfield, RI
Tips & Advices
Some immigration processes can take months or even years to resolve. USCIS posts an online list for each field office that shows current processing times for common applications, such as ones for permanent residency, citizenship and proof of citizenship. These estimates provide a sense of the current backlog. An immigration attorney will usually monitor these timelines for you and communicate any updates.
An immigration lawyer might request copies of numerous documents, including a birth certificate, passport, letters from employers, proofs of address, income tax returns and photos/correspondence with family (if you are applying for an immigration benefit via a spouse or family member).
Yes, if you want them to. While an attorney cannot directly answer a USCIS agent’s questions, he or she can provide support and clarification during the interview. Having an attorney present is generally a good idea if you are involved in a complex immigration case.
Yes, for applications such as an adjustment of status (for example, going from a tourist visa to a green card) and citizenship, it is usually a good idea to agree upon a fixed rate that covers all paperwork and responses to evidence requests. This can save you money compared to an rate based on billable hours.
Fee schedules vary significantly depending on the case type. Immigration lawyers usually charge for both the required application fees from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and for their services. Longer, more complex cases such as deportation defenses are more expensive than simpler matters like completing a citizenship application.
