I went to this club with my two friends and boyfriend. It was very humid inside from it being packed and everyone breathing heavy, no AC to the best of my knowledge. The music was great if you like techno and TONS of bass. The scene was good. Lots of different types of people. Escape is LGBTQ friendly. No alcohol but a good atmosphere overall. Cover charge was a little on the upper side ($15). 2-3 bathroom stalls. The bathrooms were unisex so it was kind of awkward. Boxes to stand on and be the center of attention on the dance floor. The staff was very friendly. In the end, I enjoyed my time there but I wouldn't go back again.

Nicolai Street Clubhouse
Being a newcomer to Portland, (Relocated from the Eastern Coast). I never would have thought I could find fresh and suckulant lobster. We'll I did at Nikolai.P.S. The aged Prime Rib was prepared "Damn Good!"

Gilmore's Meadow Lounge
Very comfortable bar with good food. The prices are right too. Love the Open Mic on Sunday from 2-5 pm. Has a large outdoor patio and a separate area for large groups.

The Blue Monk
The music is incredible, the energy is electric and everybody in the dance floor is moving to the music, this is my ideal place for a weeknight.
