I had the pleasure of dining at Masu in Portland while on a business trip. The food and service was absoutely outstanding! I will be dreaming of the ""Death by Sushi Roll"" when I get back home to the East Coast. Thank you to Rory for being an awesome server - and if you ever see this, you were totally dreamy! For those who care, it was a bit pricey, but was worth every penny!

What a wonderful place. I love the calzones and the pizza alike. The pasta sauce that they have in here is really made in heaven, literally made in heaven because their kitchen is where heaven is.

Glad I found this place. I had been encouraged to try the food by a friend. I mapped the location and I actually drove by it as the Google maps directions had me driving by the actual location. It is next to the OnPoint Credit Union on Capitol Hwy. Great outdoor seating. Great food. I will be back!

Absolutely love the Zuppa Toscana and Breadsticks!! ^_^ Oh, and the Berry Aqua Fresco. BUT, it's disappointing that they no longer have Chocolate Gelato. *tear* Other than that, this is one of the places I often visit!!

When my husband and I first moved to Portland from the bay area we searched out all of the Indian restaurants as it is one of our favorite types of foods. When Namaste moved into the old Steamers Restaurant on Sandy we were cautiously excited. And, when they finally opened and we went for the first time we were elated as the food is simply some of the best we have found in Portland and now we eat there at least once a week. They have a buffet for lunch and dinner but if there is something you might like which is not on the buffet they graciously will bring it from the kitchen at your request. Their veggie pakoras are some of the best I've had and the buffet is quite abundant with usually more than you can ever want or desire for a meal. Complete with mango ice cream for dessert (among other sweets).I highly recommend this restaurant and am so delighted that we can stay in our own neighborhood and give up our search! By the way, you can also order from the menu if you prefer, the buffet is not mandatory.

Started with the dinner salad with Blue Cheese dressing which is the best dinner salad I have ever had in a restaurant, consistent. Main Course was Grilled Trout, Vegetable saute', and Tomato's for the side. (You can also get a baked potato or other sides, but I am on a diet). The trout was perfect and the Vegetables were my favorite vegetables at the restaurant, saute'd squash, peppers and other veggies, I highly recommend this Milwaukie restaurant

We stumbled upon a winner with Kenton Station. It's a family friendly restaurant with great food and service. It's nice to find a place where my kids are welcome and my husband can watch a game on one of the several large screen tv's. We'll be back!

Raccoon Lodge and Brew Pub offers some of the best beer brewed in Oregon. For those who rate brew pubs based on crayon count per table, there are other places you'll enjoy. Yes, it takes a while to get food in the restaurant upstairs...This isn't Chucky Cheese with beer! However, the downstairs Den is a cozy, adult-friendly, environment . The happy hour menu provides a great selection of inexpensive tastey pub fare, all of the standard Lodge brews, plus a number of specialty beers not available in the upstairs bar. Happy hour offerings in the Den are currently available all day Saturday and Sunday. A special note to lovers of tart/sour Belgian-style beers, Ron brews the best!

Disappointed! Not with Stanish's, but with all the bad reviews. I went online to get the address for a friend who was going to meet us and saw a load of bad reviews. Now I was worried what I was getting a friend into. All my worries were put aside at the first bite. Service was quick and accurate, the ""Special"" is still the same burger I remember from 22 years ago when I had my first one right after moving here. I am not sure what some folks were looking for at my favorite local pub, 5 star it aint for sure, but if you are looking for a big sloppy burger with 5 star taste, this is the place...Still!

I have been a fan since this restaurant opened. The food is soooooooooooooooooooooo consistently good! The emphasis is quality food with attentive service. I have to admit being irritated with reviews who say they aren't ""seated quickly"", and then grade a restaurant down. Everything may not be to your PERSONAL taste, but remains creative, sustainable and achingly GOOD! Take your server's recommendation... they know the menu and will insure a quality experience! Make sure you come BACK for brunch... OMG!

This is the story of ..........DIRTY DIAPERS .........(it's long, but promise it's worth it) This gory little story is how Seasons & Regions exemplary staff saved the day!!! Last evening we dined at this lovely seafood restaurant, just me and the hubby. It was a celebration dinner. Everything was perfect from the food, drinks, appetizers, dessert, entrees...amazingly yummy 4+ stars. BUT the service was impeccable under insurmountably horrific conditions =10 stars. You know the saying, ""you can't pick your neighbors"". Well the booth next to us were the most disgusting, crude, inconsiderate, ignorant pieces of garbage I've ever encountered in a public restaurant! The accounts of the evening: Baby starts screaming (24-36 month: toddler) and next thing I know, the ""mother-disguster of the year"" plops the child down ON THE BOOTH and changes the kids DIRTY pooooooo DIAPERS! That's right, she did NOT head to the restroom (literally 5 feet away) or to the car, but right there in the middle of the restaurant. Had this been her only crime I would probably never would have taken the time to write this, but THERE'S MORE: The lovely servers were trying to help (obviously this family were an obnoxious and abusive bunch toward staff ever since they slithered in. Acting as if they were entitled royalty, but ROYAL PIGS is more like it). The servers came over asked how they could help, as food and drinks were some how knocked on the floor during all the commotion and the MOTHERDISGUSTER said, ""Here"" as she REACHED over to the server who was holding a tray [she was tasked to clean up their pig pin of a booth]...and (WAIT FOR IT)... THE mother PUT THE DIRTY DIAPER ON THE TRAY... as if this was acceptable in any human culture in a restaurant. I have animals who are cleaner about their business that this woman. At least my dog knows to leave his pooo in the dog area and our cats use only the litter pan. Before you bemoan'ers get all befuddled; believe me, I am sympathetic. I have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. I understand the need to have an urgent diaper change, but I always (and still w/the grandkids ) head to the restroom or car-there is always time. No one should have to see poooo or smell it in the middle of the dining room. When these people left, the staff had to work tirelessly to disinfect the entire area and they kept finding garbage (several outside coffee paper cups, napkins, silverware, food on the floor or in the booth) THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED OUT NOR TO BREED! They treated the staff like 2nd class citizens, were actually rude to the staff. All the while, the staff were amazing to them and all customers, never missing a beat! The entire restaurant staff were incredibly professional, handled the situation with grace, speed and they were simply stellar. Bravo! A few of us applauded quietly when the family of pigs left. I love when bad neighbors move!

I effing love this place. I've been going here for seven years or so... The wait staff is still the same. The menu is the same. They've added a bar. The drinks are awesome/strong, and everything is made in house. The Spold Mac is my favorite. The oyster shooters are the best I've had anywhere (OYYSSTTTTTEEERRRRSSSS!). 1/2 bottles of wine on Monday/Tuesday (I think). The cook staff look like sexy pirates (and one even asked me out ;), and you'll see flames shooting out from the kitchen. People love to complain about the staff - well, their aloof, I-don't-give-a-$hit about you demeanor only adds to the experience. LOVE this place and so should you. Don't date the cooks, though.

Echo is my go to spot in pdx! If you want a great drink and a fantastic dinner Echo is your mecca. My husband and I live in the neighborhood and have spent many a nights at echo. I have NEVER been disappointed. \r \r The hummus plate, crab dip, stuffed peppers, and mussels are all fab. For a main, I would highly recommend their steak salad or the burger. Seriously, I know my burgers and this one is unforgettable and ranks in my top 5 burgers of all time....probably in the number 1 spot. When they have their veggie panini on the menu it makes my day. It is yummy! I love that there are so many options to choose from and this goes the same with the drinks. They have a shirah on the menu for $6 that sings in your mouth (well not really- that would be weird but you know what I mean). Echo also has beers on draft and the pomegranate martini is so amazing. And do not even get me started on dessert....trio of creme brulee?? hello, how could anyone resist that?! All this and a comfy atmosphere and staff that makes you feel like home. \r \r I was surprised to read the review below that customers left feeling unwelcomed or ignored. This is the exact opposite of how I have ever been treated at Echo. The staff is friendly and fun. In fact, this is the first place my husband and I bring out of town family or guests. They recently extended their hours until 2am. If you are looking for a nightcap come for the Moroccan coffee. It is a house specialty and you will love it. \r \r All I have to say is try Echo for yourself and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. It is the whole package: cozy, fun, yummy, and affordable. What more could you ask for?!

Be still my beating heart. Always my favorite meal since the last time I have eaten there. There is always a vegetarian option, and sometimes it's my favorite (leek bread pudding) of all the plates (no one gets to finish their plate without letting me try!).

Yes. The fish and chips really are that good. The fish is fried but still has that seafood flavor, unlike some places where all you taste is the batter and oil. The fish tacos are tasty too. The fish isn't overpowered by the other stuff in the taco. I also, appreciate that they are gluten-free and support sustainable fishing.

De Nicola's is a warm and welcoming space, redolent with the aroma of so many dishes being enjoyed by diners. I started with the vegetable soup, chunks of vegetables in a savory broth. The cheese bread was fresh, tender, and had far more cheese than I ever expected. Then the chicken parmigiana arrived under a tangy thick simmered sauce. The servings are enormous, easily enough for 3 people. Our server was attentive and I met the owner who stopped to chat with us. I will be returning!

Meriwether's is a restaurant that I often recommend to friends looking for a special night out or for a great Happy Hour. It has a wonderful atmosphere inside, and a fabulous heated and covered patio. I have been to several ""Sunday Suppers"" (last Sundays in Oct.-April), and thoroughly enjoyed the generous and tasty dishes cooked in their hearth by Chef Earl. And Happy Hour is a culinary treat with some amazing small plates and nibbles! I have always had good service and superior food. Love it!
