YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I've been going to Pet Loft for years, and I highly recommend it to all my friends with pets. They have an excellent selection of limited-ingredient foods for pets with allergies, and have made some great recommendations over the years - everything from grooming products, toys, food, and general health care. I've seen the same staff members for years, and every one of them is knowledgeable, friendly, and always helpful. Pet Loft is also active in the local community, raising funds for a local feral cat association and adoption of local dogs. I would much rather help support a local business that gives back to the community than the Big Box stores.

This is not a big corporate pet store. Their prices are comparable to those big places. Benefit is that people at Creature Comforts actually know about animals. Every time I go in Creature comforts they are super nice and helpful.

I recently moved to Portland a few months ago and started scoping out dog grooming places. I have a mini schnauzer and he's a bit spoiled / nervous around new places. Therefore, I like to check the places out before dropping my dog off at the groomer. Urban Fauna is lovely! It's an adorable boutique / day care / grooming hub for spoiled dogs! Needless to say my dog fit right in. The groomer is always extremely sweet, listens to my list of wants, is quick when I need to pick him up in a hurry and the price is dirt cheap. I highly recommend!

Kelly and her staff are awesome. Before finding Zimmers I tried several other groomers and wasn't pleased. Finally I found Kelly and I have been with her for the past 15 years. The whole staff is excellent. \r I have two standard poodles and they love to get groomed. They come home happy puppies and I love the work they do. \r Excellent!

I inherited a bird when my girlfriend bailed on me. I didn't know the first thing about bird care and the little parakeet was too small to eat so I started taking care of it with the help of Bird Hut. They were so good at helping me take care of my little feathered friend that I wanted to give them a shout out.

This place is so awesome. If you have questions about dogs or cats, RUN- don't walk, to this store and ask for Sheri! We walked into the shop a few years ago when we first noticed it opening up next to the Blockbuster Video that used to be in that complex. We were greeted very warmly by the owners and their big Black Dog, Tucker. When we asked them how long they had been open, they told us we were their first customers! EVER! XD We don't have dogs, only cats, so when we go into Black Dog I take all the time I can to play with Tucker and get my doggie time in-while my BF shops for our kitty food. Tucker always greets me with a toy in his mouth and a smile on his little (big) doggie lips! Sheri is the greatest. She doesn't make you feel like crap if you can't afford the best raw or wholistic or whatever food for your animals. She will suggest things for you if you tell her your situation, tho. We had a problem with one of our cats having ""bathroom"" issues, if you know what I mean. The vets put him on a rx diet (you know the kind). It did nothing. Then we asked Sheri. She recommended some quality protein wet foods (and gave us tons to try out-he's a picky eater). We finally found one he LOVED and since eating it a couple times a day his problems have gotten SO MUCH BETTER! It was dramatic the change we saw in him. Then we started to have hairball problems in a couple kitties. Again, we asked her what to do and she gave us a bottle of ""goo"" that I mix into their wet food and it's working GREAT! I really put a lot of faith in what she tells us because I know she has a TON of experience with animals of all kinds. Both personal experience with her own animals, and I know she worked in the pet health care field for a time, as well. Long story short, I don't know what we would do without this place. We consider Sheri and Tucker (and Xerox! And their Dad!) to be part of our (very large) family of animals and people! XD So, thank you Black Dog for being there for us when we don't know where else to turn! Love you guys! ;0)
