Their hams are among the best with a rich smoky flavor, but I was surprised this year to find that they now offer decent, even pretty good, customer service. For many years they have had the most dysfunctional customer service I've ever seen, but I went there on Christmas Eve and they moved everybody through efficiently, they should get an award for best turnaround of the year.
OMG! I always knew that HoneyBaked had the best ham. My mom used to always get it for Easter and Christmas. But I didn't know they have a restaurant too.
My girlfriend and I were doing a little shopping in Johns Landing and we found the HoneyBaked restaurant. I hadn't been there since I was a kid.
They have many different sandwiches. Kelly had a HoneyBaked Classic. It had ham and Swiss on a soft bun. She said the sauces were really good. She also had a cup of split pea soup. I tried a bit and it was really tasty. There were big hunks of meat in it too!
I usually don't try salads at places I haven't eaten at before but I saw another customers and it looked really good. I ordered the HoneyBaked Cobb. It was worth the price. It was huge and had a crazy amount of meat and cheese on it. There Honey Ranch dressing was amazing!
All in all I would say that HoneyBaked is a great restaurant. The food is really good and the staff are courteous.
If you've never had a great ham, try them. You order in advance and designate a pickup date, pay at pickup.
That's if they have it when they're supposed to, or they haven't lost your order, and forget doing business with them through the web, you deal with the local store by phone (often busy) or in person. The franchise needs to catch up with the real world and enforce service standards on the stores.
