YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I went into this store to get some advise, as a beginer, on R/C airplanes. The gentleman that helped me was very, very helpful. I will be doing all of my shopping there from now on.

The Hobby Smith is my first stop in model railroading supplies and railroad books. The owner and staff are all friendly and the owner is willing to special order details parts and kind of off-the-beaten track kits for me when I ask. Come to the Hobby Smith a few times and they'll remember the sorts of interests you have. My two eight year old girls frequently come with me and are welcomed right along with me, even though sometimes all they want to do is go to the bathroom or ask me for ice cream next door. This place has a large selection of N, HO, and O scale items, and even some Z scale. They also carry some brass items for people into that sort of thing. The book selection for Pacific NW roads is very complete, with both new, used, and out-of-print books. For ideas, there are several videos and magazine titles. The shop staff and the owner are also ready to answer questions. There is a literature rack with fliers about local and Pacific Northwest rail or model railroad events.

Best selection in the PDX area. I found that they price match, so I'm not sure what happened to the other guy who left a review. I got the Slash 4x4 and just in time for an upcoming birthday. I like this place and I'll be back.
