I attempted to get a rock chip repair fixed. The location of the chip on my windshield made the fix a bit of a challenge. I dropped off the vehicle, when i picked up the vehicle, they stated they were unable to heat seal the chip due to it being near my plastic dash. I appreciate their honesty and not harming my dash. However, they claimed to have added filler and thus charged me half price due to not being able to seal and heat treat. That's great, but now what? I could still see fracture lines coming from the chip. They offered to give me a $20 discount on a complete windshield replacement if the crack expanded and warranted a complete replacement. They seem to have meant well, but were not able to properly fix my chip.

Alba Glass
Excellent customer service, Alba Glass came to my house and installed my new windshield for an excellent price! I had my 92 Lexus ES300's windshield replaced, with any used car there are always hidden bad repair jobs. Alba Glass encountered an old repair on my windshield the prior repairer (not Alba) had used Butyl tape to secure the windshield. It's not okay to use and is a pain to remove, it's sticky gooey and gross. Alba Glass took care of me and did an excellent job with the removal, installation and info on after care to make sure I didn't ruin the new install. I will recommend everyone to Alba Glass. Thanks!
