Old man smell? Give me a break. You probably went there one time and it was during the day when they have their seniors there. I think its cool they fill up their club with the old peeps when it would usually be empty. Lemme guess, you work out at a 24 hour fitness or an LA Fitness usually right? You're that type obviously. And by the way Ryan, some of those ""old men"" could probably out lift you! But on a better note, the gym is laid back and comfortable. I recommend it. I've been a member there for about 2 years and have had nothing but good service and met cool people.

If you can find a parking space, the gym has a lot more room and there usually isnt a wait for equipment, which is a refreshing change. You are greeted by very cheery and polite individuals at the counter, which is nice! I had to upgrade membership but got a deal, and it was totally worth it. Of course items get worn over time, but this gym has enough traffic to warrant new items to replace the already failing ones..treadmills look old and are starting to feel old, mats and weights in classroom seem very dirty... my step pushes around on the floor because they are so dirty and dusty. They have great classes and instructors - Jim's classes are fantastic and he's 100% devoted to our fitness. In my 20 years of gyms I've never experienced this kind of workout and teaching before. Now all we need are clean mats and some good steam cleaning around the bathrooms and showers, and we are set!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, and they started a new Body Pump class last week...and I say - meh?

I still have a bit to go but i know that working out with Wild Fire Fitness will help me reach all of my fitness goals in no time. This is a great work out for beginners to experts. Tami does a great job if making the work outs fit ever fitness level while making it challenging for the person who is just beginning to work out program to the person who has been running marathons. The first time I went to try TRX I did not know what to expect. Within the first 10 minutes it was the most intense full-body workout I had ever done! The next day I felt muscles I had not felt in a long time and knew this was just what I needed to push myself to the next level. The TRX class works everything - your core, upper and lower body, coordination etc. I have seen improvements in myself which have been great. When I do my weekend run up Weir Road now it is much easier! The trainer Casey is great! He does the entire workout with us and motivates everyone no matter what level you are on...beginner or experienced....he makes everyone feel comfortable and we all have fun! The class is always challenging but at the same time fun. Would like to do it more than once a week!

I love, love, love barre3 - and I do live in the Pearl, but am not a mom, I usually go to the 6am class and get in my workout before work which is awesome.\r The instructors are great and I like that the routines are slightly different every time. I am definitely seeing results.\r My only ""complaint"" is that it's not exactly affordable, but in lieu of a gym membership/personal trainer, it's worth it!

Big barbecue grills are always ready to go on summer evenings -- a favorite spot for West Burbs folks to bring the family down for a swim and then grill up some goodies to enjoy on the picnic tables on the lawn next to the play structure. Work out facilities never crowded, always clean. Not too fancy, not too crowded -- WHRC is juuust right.

After spending considerable time searching for a location for a Bar Mitzvah party, we found Club Sport. It was the best decision we could have made. From beginning to end the staff was wonderful. Jessica DeMonte, event coordinator was terrific, handling all details so we had nothing to worry about or be responsible for. The facility cost was extremely reasonable. The food was great and they worked to make it fit our budget. The people who came were quite impressed with the facility and food and we still are receiving rave reviews. I have and will continue to recommend Club Sport highly to anyone looking for an event site.

Had a groupon & enjoyed dinner with a friend this past Friday evening. Decent selections of beer on tap & wines. We were seated immediately and the server came over immediately with water and took our beverage order. The very friendly server came back a few minutes later to take our food order, I had the prosciutto wrapped shrimp as an appetizer (yummy) & pork loin as an entree. My friend had a salad and gnocchio entree. Pork loin was excellent - thick & juicy. The seasoning was complimentary to the pork loin. My friend enjoyed her selections as well. The entrees arrived a few moments after we finished our appetizers / salads. Look forward to visiting during warmer climes to enjoy the outdoor seating. Ambience inside restaurant was real nice - not too bright...not too dark. Lively atmosphere with excellent & friendly service... Will definitely be back!

I go here for the Arnis classes offered on thursdays, and am strongly considering getting a full membership after meeting some of the regular characters. The customers are pretty diverse here too. Plenty of average people trying to keep up on their fitness, but also quite a few bodybuilders and what I'd term ""lifestyle"" gym folk.\r I haven't done any lifting for a while but am excited to get started again now that I've gotten familiar with this place. \r Also, quite a few martial arts/wrestling classes take place pretty much every day of the week. The instructors are pretty solid people. Friendly and pragmatic with little ego.\r Definitely a more comfortable looking option compared to larger mega gyms.

My husband and I love going to workout with Drea, and are estatic she has a new and beautiful studio for us to work out in. We are both very overwieght, but we have seen great progress in a short amount of time in working with Drea. Working out in a private setting allows us to concentrate on our selves with out being self conscious. Not only have we lost weight and body fat (yeah!), our energy levels are greatly enhanced. No longer couch potatos, we are biking and golfing on the weekends and feel happier in spirit. Drea keeps us on our toes and interested by customizing our workouts and always pushing us to do a little more. We just signed up for more sessions and couldn't imagine making the journey towards better fitness without her.
