YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I ordered a full sheet chocolate vegan cake for my husband's 40th. Being new to Portland, I wanted something to ""welcome"" him to PDX, so Sweatpea decorated his cake with a rendition of the steel bridge. Cake was delicious, and a number of people who had never tried a vegan cake before came up to say it was one of the best cakes they'd ever had.

This place is everything I love about Portland. It has funky staff, that are fun to talk to if you are around in late afternoon when they have time to breathe. From the tables you can watch the action as they bake away. There is a variety of bread from hearty and crusty to soft and chewy...something for everyone. Everyone of the pastries are awesome. The coffee is good, as well, from a local roaster. As I sit back and watch the people come and go, most have coffee and pastry in hand. My goodness, try a loaf of bread! The soups and sandwiches are good as well. I read some of the comments in other posts (although they are a little dated) and it didn't seem like the same place. I think one is referring to the pizza location on the East side. This location only serves pizza on Monday evenings, and it's a pretty quaint, exclusively neighborhood experience on Mondays.

I had the shortest amount of time possible to plan are second yes second wedding in portland after we eloped! Only two months notice!! I went in and wasn't threaled by the wedding cake sales girl but she got what we wanted and that was the point. I can care less about who takes the order as long as it comes out the way I want. She was nice and courteous. The Cake was PERFECT when we finally seen it... I had given them a special order I wanted a Shiny shiny cake and the super pearl sprayed it 2x. Exactly what I had asked for and along with that, I had given them my Swarovski crystal ribbion banding that cost a fortune to get. They put it on exactly the way I wanted it was Gorgeous!!! My wife has a gluten allergy. I received a coupon for Piece of Cake and when we found out that they had Gluten Free Carrot Cake, she said we had to order that. So we got 1 9 inch double layer Carrot Cake. She had been craving Carrot Cake and it surpassed her expectations. It does not even taste gluten free! For anybody who can not eat gluten we highly recommend PIECE OF CAKE.

Great to go place and the best/cheapest sandwhiches I have ever had. The gals that work there are nice, and the service is quick and you for sure can't beat the prices.

This is a place where you can buy a dozen mini-cupcakes to share with others. The cupcakes are moist and delicious. Frosting is unusually light and flavorful. You will most likely make more than one trip here.

In our reconnaissance of lunch places in a new-to-us neighborhood we came across Cookie Cabana. We stopped in, to check out the cookies, but found a wonderful salad bar that has made us lunch regulars. Huge selection of high-quality salad bar choices, sushi, pasta and other pre-made salads, fruit, and more! A small, but tasty, hot food buffet is also available. We've also gotten catered lunches for groups delivered to the office. Other items are available, but the salad bar keeps calling us back!

Getting a pizza there is great, and it's a nice thin crust. I've tried LOTS of gluten free bread, and their ""Seeded"" bread is by far the best I've found: terrific for sandwiches! I don't know about this other review and their bad experience with ordering a cake, everyone I have met there is super nice and helpful. A friend of mine brought a cake from there for a birthday party, the cake (chocolate and butter cream frosting) was AMAZING. It was a huge cake, complete with a beautiful ""Happy Birthday..."", and not a crumb was left!

I love this place. The staff is friendly, the service is great, and the coffee and pastries are fantastic. They have a inviting lounge area filled with couches and arm chairs. Its bright and sunny...they even have a children s play area

I used Polly's Cakes for my wedding in March 2006. I love her cake (it is SO good). We also loved taking the drive out to Hood River for our tasting. Polly offers a variety of flavors (many of them are local-inspired, with flavors like marionberry and chai) and the cake is so moist and wonderful in your mouth! We ended up choosing a vanilla poppyseed/marionberry filling and chocolate/marionberry filling 3-layer cake. It's a small shop, so you won't always get a receptionist answering the phone, but Polly loves her cakes and she delivered ours in-person on our wedding day. (In response to the other reviewers comments: I would ignore anyone who calls Polly ""rude and pretentious"" - she is certainly neither of those.) Our wedding was fabulous all-around, and Polly's cake was one of our favorite elements. We would use her again in a heartbeat.

We went to voodoo doughnuts as out of towners to see what the hype is all about. It was easy to find with fast and friendly service. The shop and workers were clean and courteous, especially given that we had a list of many we wanted to try. Prices on some were a bit outrageous ($8 for the cocky-n-balls) but all in all, they're great doughnuts and not something wed find in the small town were from. from
