YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I have been to O'Gallerie for several years, and have never been disappointed. The auction house itself is large, and the house is usually full. There is usually a lot of activity on the really good stuff, but for items that are not the best, then one should be aware that the sales price may not be exactly what you want. However, the people that give you the range of the sales price is usually very accurate, so if you don't like it, then don't sell it there, or just don't sell it. Just remember, other consignments stores want 40 to 60 percent, which is twice what O'Gallerie charges on the sell side. I like the online catalogs that come out weeks before the auction, where you can see a clear photo of the item, a detailed description, and a suggested sales range. It is extremely helpful to see what you want. These catalogs are then archived with actual prices for several months. There is also ample time to preview your items to purchase for 3 days before a major auction. This is extremely helpful, so you can see if there are any nicks/scratches/etc. well before you buy. The bidding goes fast, so don't be shy there, and you will have the time of your life! I love it!

This place is amazing! Excalibur boasts the largest back stock inventory of comic books in the northwest and, after being there, it's hard to believe otherwise. All the comics are neatly bagged and their several tables of long boxes are clearly organized. They painted and remodeled since last time I was in, adorning the place with new shelves and tables and the place looks great. The staff is always very helpful and informative. The guy working when I was there was more interested in making sure I got something I would enjoy rather than pushing whatever was ""hot"" that week. The staff are really well-versed in their comics, always adding some tidbit of information here or making a suggestion there. If anything, they were too helpful, because now I don't have enough money to buy all the things I want. I will definitely have to go back!

With a wide selection of stylish vintage and retro clothing, plus various other unique knicknacks this is a very fun shop. Their slogan Bitchin' Kitsch and Counter Couture definitely applies. I found an over the top, 70's tuxedo with white pants and a crazy patterned light blue and white jacket with frilly fronted shirt that is totally pimp. There's also an interesting selection of crazy Thai movie posters, some being particularly gruesome and cool Cultural Revolution Mao memorabilia (posters, clocks, pins). Jason and Andrea are both very knowledgeable and helpful. Being in a shopping deadzone (look on the map for SE Portland in the last Willamette Week finder to see what I mean), they open later in the day (rarely are they open before noon) and often stay open late into the night (sometimes past midnight on the weekends) to match the influx of the restaraunt and bar crowd. They live upstairs, so if the shop is open but locked, a phone call to the number on the door will send them down. Due to the irregularity of their business hours, I strongly recommend calling in advance if you specifically want to shop there, or try to get the number from the door (which is their cell, not the number listed here) and schedule an appointment. Sort of a pain, but I found the treasures within well worth the effort.
