My Mechanic Of Tc
My 1991 Toyota Camry is my baby. I don’t like to take it to just anyone for repairs. I used to have a mechanic that worked on my car, but over time I noticed the quality of his work was declining. The last straw was when he kept my car for almost 22 months, for something that should have taken no more than two weeks. In the end I got my car back worse than when I dropped it off, plus I lost a lot of money in the process. This left a bad taste in my mouth, but I decided to see Joe in the hopes he could help. He had my car for only one week, and when I picked it up it sounded and drove better than when I first bought it! One noise the car had could not be fixed by the other mechanic. Hundreds of dollars spent, parts after parts replaced, but nothing helped. When Joe had it, he made one phone call for the noise. Five minutes on the phone and seven dollars later, and the noise is no more! Joe is the best!! I will recommend him to everyone I know, and even people I don’t know!

My Mechanic Of Tc
I recently brought in my 95 Nissan Altima to get parts replaced. He not only fixed those parts, but also took the time to go over the rest of the engine, and informed me of a few more items that he felt were necessary to change out. Joe made sure I saw what he was talking about before getting permission to move forward with replacing them. Prior to this visit I had been having problems with my check engine light constantly turning on because of issues with the O2 sensor/EGR valve. The last mechanic couldn’t seem to get it right. I kept going back numerous times over several months and spending money with each visit, but still it wasn’t fixed. Frustrated I went to see Joe about it. He took extra time to not only verify the error message, but went further by cleaning out the line. It’s been eight months and still no problem! Joe is awesome! I appreciate finally going to an honest mechanic, and someone who actually knows how to fix cars by getting it right the first time.

Reliable Mechanics Inc
I was having serious car troubles and heard about Reliable Mechanics from a friend. Given my past experience with mechanics I was ready to pay a lot of money. I even slipped and told them this, but they did not take advantage. The problem turned out to be a simple, very inexpensive fix and they even delivered the car to me because of how far away I lived. It was my first honest experience with a hired mechanic and I was extremely grateful. The service was professional and worth much more than they charged, but best of all is my piece of mind. They even explained how the problem was caused and how to detect and avoid it in the future. Even though it's a drive, I take my car to them for all of my routine maintenance because I trust them and they are always fair.

Allapattah Automotive
My car was not always starting last week, I tried a new battery and it continued to happen. I called and spoke with John, he told me to bring it in and had it fixed the next day with a new starter. He took the time to find the problem and order the part to have done in one day. He also took the time to show me my old starter and what caused it to go. I had planned to walk home after dropping but he offered me a ride and when I said I would be fine, he gave me his card in case I changed my mind. He had one of his employees pick me up at my home to pick up my car. They did all they could to make it as easy as possible. I will return if I need any other work done. Thanks John!!

Auto Pro Tech
I have a chevrolet HHR. I took it to a tire center locally because i heard a loud roaring noise. The tire center told me it was my tires and wanted to sell me four new tires. The tires I had on the car looked good. So I took my car to Auto Pro Tech to get a second opinion they found out it was a front wheel bearing that was causing the noise and I was back on the road with in a couple of hours. The repair was over $100 less than the tires would have cost. Everyone over there was very kind and helpful.Definitely recommend Auto Pro Tech. It's refreshing to find a good reliable mechanic.

Tire Kingdom
I had my son's jeep towed here to have a starter installed. When it was time to pick the jeep up; the key had disappeared. Very trying experience. I have never heard of a key being lost and am sure it was a fluke. Manager David Taylor and his team exceeded my expectations by trying several options to resolve this; eventually securing the services of a locksmith. Electronic keys and microchips present a very costly problem when missing. Thank you for your professional and courteous service.

F & M Auto Repair, Inc.
Be very careful here. The mechanic has an attitude as well as the owner. Told me a transmission line was a power steering line and almost cost me a transmission. Told me the parts werent available without even checking. Had cold air when I arrived left with no ac and the shop next door put the guages on and said ALL my freon had been removed and it was in evacuation mode. I wanted to do business with them bc theyre a family owned company but wont ever go back.
Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
