Econo Termite & Pest Control
Had horrible issue with small roaches and tiny ants in my kitchen about 6 weeks ago. When I called they said that they had an Entomologist on staff and would send him to evaluate. When he arrived he walked around outside and showed me a small overgrown tree right under my kitchen window that was part of the problem (showed me the bugs crawling around in the growth, blech!). Suggested I trim it back so that it didn't touch the house and check the seals on my window. He then gave a me an estimate to spray the house. The price was great! The guy that came out to do the service was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time (unlike other companies in the past) and sprayed everywhere inside and out. He even came back a couple of weeks later to make sure that I wasn't having anymore problems before the next appointment. Definitely keeping them for my bug killing needs!!

Hughes Exterminators
Likeable employees, but just couldn't get the job done. They will come out multiple times, but if they are not fixing the problem, what is the sense? I hung on and on, but my patience finally gave out and I switched to another company.

I hired this company to maintain my lawn, to keep it green, lush and free of weeds. I purchased the service for a one year period beginning April 2012. By September my lush lawn had large brown patches of dead grass all over both front and back. Brian the owner apologized and said he would re-sod the front immediately and re-plant the back in the spring (the only time seeding can be done). The re-sodding was completed however from the beginning it looked patched in and still does today 8 months later. There are MORE brown spots in my front yard and the back has never been re-seeded as promised in addition I received a bill for service provided last month. No one from the company ever called to inform me that my contract was up or to see if I even wanted to continue my service. I called last week, spoke with the receptionist and was told Brian would call me within the hour, it has now been a week and still no phone call, no re-seeding and a brown screwed up lawn. I am not continuing my service and suggest you NEVER begin yours.

Tips & Advices
Baits can be effective in situations where you're dealing with a relatively small number of pests. But in cases where there is a full infestation, pest control sprays usually provide a quicker and more thorough solution. Keep in mind, though, that sprays can be toxic to both humans and the environment. In many cases, baiting can be a safer and less hazardous choice.
Yes, many commercial pest control companies offer green products. Certain pest control chemicals can be harmful to both humans and the environment. Some commercial pest control companies use eco-friendly, biodegradable options to keep pests in check, with active ingredients such as mint, rosemary, thyme, boric acid, and diatomaceous earth.
In many cases, pest control methods used in commercial and residential environments are the same, but there may be differences in the way these methods are implemented. For example, both residential and commercial pest control may incorporate pest exclusion, which aims to keep pests out by sealing and securing a building's access points. Since many commercial facilities cover much more space than the typical residence, implementation of this approach would be different.
Commercial pest control differs from residential in the amount of care required. Because many commercial facilities are much larger than the typical home or apartment, commercial pest control often entails more frequent service. While residential pest control usually requires monthly or quarterly service, commercial pest control may take place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Certain pests are common in commercial settings. Rats and mice plague many businesses of all types. In addition to carrying diseases, such as tuberculosis and salmonella, rodents can cause costly damage by gnawing into pipe work and electrical wires. Bed bugs are a growing nuisance. These pests may be found in hotels and student accommodations, and they can even infest office furniture. Flies are commonly found in restaurants, bars, and food factories.
