Groves Veterinary Clinic
Wonder place. Superb care! If you want a great vet and staff that cars. Look no further. They even have Saturday appointments! Something that is rare for many vet offices. The whole team are really sweet and I couldn't be happier with my decision to go to Groves Vet clinic. They recently removed a mammary tumor from my beloved Chihuahua. Turned out to be malignant, but they were 99% confident that it had all been removed. The staff called me as she went into surgery and after she came out. Just to let me know she is okay. She is doing great and is back to her old self. The prices were very reasonable and not expensive as some other reviews have stated. I am truly grateful to the entire office for their care and devotion to my little "Butters". You saved her and for that I am forever in your debt. Thank you!

Myself, husband, mother and 5 dogs moved here from Clearwater, Florida at the beginning of this year. I had the same vet for over 35 years and finding a new veterinarian clinic was the most stressful. I liked the outward appearance of the facility and the extremely accomodating, friendly staff. I received excellent care by Dr. Barnes, his incredibly efficient and well trained vet techs, along with the people working the front desk.In my opinion the pricing is excellent and extremely reasonable. My dogs were updated with vaccines and one needed a dental with an extraction. I was truly happy the way my dog was taken care of while at the clinic and the follow up phone call to check on his progress once he was home.I feel I have found the vet clinic I was so desperately hoping to find!

I love this vet! We have a dog, 3 cats, several parrots, an iguana and a pig That has been seen by Dr. Villarreal. The staff is always friendly and treats our babies like family. The office is beautiful and very clean. The prices are very reasonable. We have a cat with a heart murmur and the Dr. did one test at a time to keep the cost down by not running any unnecessary testing. Which is a big deal to me because I have to keep cost down since I have so many babies. Dr. Villarreal always takes the time to answer all my questions and jokes around with us. I just can't say enough about how great they are there. I am so grateful I found such a caring vet. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves their babies as much as I do.

The staff was amazing. Dr. McDonald worked within our budget and was able give our "piper" the fighting chance she needed. We drove almost 4 hours because we read all the good things about her and her staff. If anyone says anything negative about how her or her staff runs their practice, they need to join the rest of us here on earth. I ask you this, would you rather have a doctor that rushes you through, and looks at your pet like a number....or spend the time to have a Dr. That looks at you pet as a family member and give you all the options? The person that just wrote had it right....Dr. McDonald shows love, compassion, and heart felt understanding....bless you and your family

Animal Medical ClinicLoved itJust got back from my first visit there with my dog and it was a great experience. Dr. Berrish was great with Bristol and took his time...Gave ME the options on treatment to maybe avoid costly X-rays that we might not need as of yet. This Is definitely my new Place of choice to go...Other reviews that were very positive is why I went in the first place and they were correct. They also are very reasonable on their pricing so far. I'm a firm believer in checking out reviews before I go to place like this and wish more people would do so...Hope it was helpful. Jeff and Bristol Ps...Will keep you updated on further appointments.

I took my 11 year old French bulldog for her 1st visit to the Animal Medical Clinic yesterday where she was seen by Dr. Stevens. I passed by several other clinics because of the bad reviews I had read. I'm glad I went the extra miles. I was impressed by Dr. Stevens, and my dog liked him too. He was calm, unhurried, and thorough. His treatment plan was logical and conservative - no need for surgery at this time. I felt that Dr. Stevens honestly had my dog's best interests at heart. The fees were very reasonable. The staff was great. I am relieved to have found the right place for my dog's medical care.

Dr. McDonald is the most compassionate wonderful animal loving person I've ever meet. Not only did she explain every step of the process, she treat my families pet like her own. When we had to finally put him down....she made us feel like she was part of our family as apart of the process. Thank you so much Dr. McDonald for showing compassion, love, and understanding.

Sad excuse for a vet they ordered expensive tests without a exam. I paid my bill in full ordered a antibiotic The office manager Kim peeler was the most unprofessional office manager I asked her to bill me for the antibiotic she said no I said my cats still sick she said your stealing and followed me to my car. Poor excuse for a vet what happened to customer service.

Dr V saved my pugs eye and when my peekapoo collapsed in heart failure he knew exactly what to do. Had it not been for him I would not have had the last 11 mos I have had with her. He treats the furkids like they are his own. So happy I found him as I had gone through 4 vets before finally finding him 8 yrs ago.

Veterinary Emergency Clinic Inc
Saved my dogs life when she collapsed in Flash CHF over a holiday weekend. Very professional and know what they are doing but being a 24 hr EV they are expensive. When your furbaby needs emergency care I would not hesitate to bring them here.
Tips & Advices
Bring medical records and medications that your pet is taking. Also, you should bring your ID and a form of payment.
Yes, there are veterinary clinics that only deal with emergency cases. They generally take walk-ins and referrals from family vets.
Yes, emergency vets treat dental emergencies and dental trauma. Freshly fractured teeth are the main category of dental injury that vets consider an emergency.
To prevent health emergencies, experts recommend supervising one’s pets, and trying to make sure they don’t get into emergency situations. A majority of emergency vet visits happen because animals were struck by cars, bit by other animals, or ingested toxins. Otherwise, the best way to prevent emergencies is by having a go-to vet you can call with any questions, and being vigilant about potential symptoms (i.e. runny stool, or trouble walking) as they appear but before they become extremely serious.
Experts say that the conditions that necessitate an emergency veterinarian visit include collapse, seizures, inability to walk, partial paralysis, and any difficulty breathing (non-stop panting, constant coughing, hyperventilation, or elevated heart rate). Gum color is often an indicator that something is wrong--especially blue gums or very pale gums. Excessive vomiting or a distended abdomen should be considered an emergency situation. Signs of any trauma or excessive bleeding should send your pet straight to the vet. Lastly, for cat owners, urinary obstruction is fatal if not treated, and generally occurs in male cats.
