Purrfect Auto Service
BEWARE of this cheater shop!!! The owner is overly aggressive cheating you to buy unnecessary service. Bragging replacement can last 1 year. And seeing this gimmick doesn't work, he'd bragging to 3 years. And many more schemes to get customers buy it. Their service n diagnosis results are not satisfactory, either. This is a dishonest, lucrative place, not a professional repair shop you can rely on. Absolutely don't recommend this. Not even worthy 1 star.

Hernandez Auto Repair
Quality of paint job sucks. Paint run all over. The owner doesn't answer his phone and voice mail is alway full. He'll keep on promising you that it will be done, but not. Suppose to be done in 2 days, but after 2 weeks of going to the shop and calling I was told that he has to order 2 brackets for the bumper. Got the brackets myself and was promise that it will be done that afternoon. 2 days after my car is still in the same parking spot an touched. Got my car and deposit and left. Unprofessional, do not put money up front and maybe they'll finish it faster.

Professional Auto Repair Machine Shop
DON'T go here, engine rebuilt using old used parts. Very costly follow up repairs were required. Slow service, car left on street, parking ticket issued, missing original parts not replaced after being lost. Gas tank left empty. This was just a few of the problems. The list is much longer. Look for a better shop you will be much happier.

Diamond Auto Shop
Diamond Auto has been our mechanics for close to 16 years now. Ask for the owner, Edwin. He stakes his business on his reputation (honesty), prices are affordable, will work with you on payments, fast work, and he actually fixes your car. We've moved from his area, but for 10 years now we still make a 45 minute drive (both ways) to have Edwin's shop work on our cars. Worth every minute! He has literally saved us thousands of dollars on our cars, seriously! He knows exactly what's wrong and he won't screw with you. We've recommended family and friends with car problems for years to Edwin and they are so happy to know him. They tried other mechanics and same old problem...shelling out $$$$ again and again and the car still doesn't work. DIAMOND AUTO IS THE BEST!! Yes, I'm shouting it out!

Henry's Automotive
Don't bring your car here. the mechanics are rushed and do a poor job. The management is dishonest and wouldn't stand behind their work. A really, really bad place.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
