Dr. Herbert I Moselle, MD
The staff at Dr. Moselle's office act as if they are all best friends, and when I go to the office, I automatically feel like part of the family. They are profficient and professional, but they act like they really enjoy their friendship and jobs. Also, Heather is the one who saw me and I could feel comfortable because she listened and answered all my concerns. My hearing in my left ear still has not returned but she already told me on my first appointment, what we would do on my follow-up appt. on Monday, if it doesn't return to normal. I look forward to returning, which I don't usually do for most Dr's. offices.

Slonaker, Chester M, MD
I cannot say enough good things about pediatric associates. I love them! Wouldn't go anywhere else, my child has been constantly sick be it from daycare or his asthma. They are always very attentive, quick, knowledgeable and great with suggestions for care. I love that I can choose from many doctors in their practice or that I can visit the same one every time. They are also part of a huge group and some have after hours that in an emergency they are also available. Pediatric Associates Plantation is amazing everyone is friendly, smiling and show they truly care. I highly recommend.

Children's Medical Association
Avoid it.Some of the doctors are actually pretty good, but we've had all sort of issues with their billing department: billing codes for new born used for a 3 year old - which ended up as extra out of pocket charges, extra procedures listed on top of regular check-up, which should be fully covered by insurance and even though I've repeatedly contacted their billing dept. and them agreeing to billing mistake on the phone, afterwards they keep sending the bill threatening sending it to collection agency for a charge of $16.

Martin E Hale Md Pa
Dr. Hale is a wonderful doctor that takes the time to help you find the correct way to treat your pain, with both medication and physical therapy. Yes, you may have to wait for your appointment but that is because he takes the time to be thorough with each patient, so go to your appointment with ALOT of patience. Dr. Hales staff is also 100%, Lisa his assistant always takes the time to help you and the girls up front, Renee, Nicole and all the others are always courteous and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Hale.

Pediatric Associates PA
I went to their prenatal " Get to know PA" lunch. So before Isa was born she's been coming! At her three day check up and ever since she's had a relationship with Nurse Alix and Dr. Santos. I am so very thankful to have these folks in our life as our 'go to' healthcare professionals. I can depend on them and I trust them. Isa is 6 now and is strong and healthy. She giggles when she sees Alix and Dr. Santos- and they giggle too!

Nara, Sreenivas, MD
Dr Nara took care of my Mom the last days before her passing at St Catholic Hospital. He is genuinely a great doctor, patience and thorough. He answered all our family questions and took his time. He respected my Mom's wishes. I hope that any family going through this with your elderly love one. Find Doctor Nara. You will be at peace

Tips & Advices
A child should see his or her pediatrician frequently during the first few years. Once the child reaches age 3, parents should schedule a doctor's visit at least once per year. Before that, however, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests parents arrange visits according to the following schedule:
  • 2 to 5 days old
  • 1 month old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 24 months old (2 years)
  • 30 months old (2.5 years)
No, parents should call 911, an emergency physician, or a pediatric emergency physician if a child suffers an acute illness or injuries. Doctors in these fields are more qualified than pediatricians to handle emergency situations.
A well-visit is a routine visit with a pediatrician to track a child's development, discuss medical or emotional concerns, and receive immunizations and medical advice.
Yes, pediatricians provide immunizations for infants and children up through 21 years.
No, pediatricians do not have to be board certified. They're only required to have a state license. However, certification indicates a dedication to studying pediatrics beyond the requirements.
