At-Ease Plumbing
A great experience!I hate contractors. Seriously most of them suck. So for me to take the time to write a review of one is nothing short of divine intervention. We first called Randy on a Saturday when we have a leak. Not only was he quick to respond, he was extremely considerate and, most importantly, reasonably priced. It didn't stop there. We're currently selling our home and were renovating a bathroom. On numerous occasions Randy came out to make sure the job was getting done on time and was working past 7 and 8pm. That's something that you don't get from anyone else. When our contractor ended up being a nightmare for the bathroom renovation Randy made sure to call my wife and I and let us know that he was going to find someone who would take great care of us. Long story short, the guys he recommended were phenomenal and the job got done better than we could have ever expected. My point in all this is to say that it's so rare to find people who actually care about what they do, treat people honestly and fairly and do business the right way. If you hate the normal runaround you get from plumbers then you would be stupid to not call At-Ease Plumbing. We've already told all our friends about them and will ABSOLUTELY be using them every single time.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the work that was performed for us by Milestone Electric technician ,Jeremy Vince's and his assistant. They were both very professional and courteous and explained every little detail of the work to be performed on our heating units as well as some of the duck work that was in drastic need of repair. It took them about four hours to complete all of the necessary work and when the work was completed, they lamed sure that there was not any trash left behind. Jeremy took photos of the areas that needed repair before and after the work was completed. Jeremy is definitely an asset to the Milestone team of professionals and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. This is not the first time that I have used Milestone Electric and since our most recent experience with Jeremy, it will not be the last. Joseph & Betty Gordon.

William Whitton responded to our call to have our older A/C unit serviced. After a thorough inspection, he informed us of the pros and cons of keeping our old unit compared to getting a new one. We were impressed with his knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to explain them to us. After weighing our options, we decided that purchasing a SEER 25 Lennox unit was the best choice for us. We were impressed at how quickly the new unit was installed the next day by Ray and his crew. The house was also left just as clean as they found it. After two nights of having our new AC, we are VERY happy that we made the decision to have the SEER 25 unit installed. We recommend Milestone Electric for anyone having their current AC unit serviced or who is looking to have a new one installed.-Scott B and Kristin S

I initially called Milestone without ever reading a review. The rep that set the appt was courteous and took the time to explain everything from scheduling to pricing. Not only did I get the call they promised before the electrician showed for the appointment, but he was so polite and professional and did me a solid by taking down and capping off a light fixture. I also got a call after the appt just to make sure I was satisfied. I have several upcoming projects where I will need additional work and wouldn't consider calling another company.

We used Milestone Electric for the first time, and were pleased from the beginning. We got a phone call within ten minutes of sending an email. All our questions were answered, and an appointment was scheduled. When Jake Brown, our technician, arrived, he was very personable, professional and courteous. He answered all our questions and explained further if we asked. He left our home with no trace of the work he'd done - just a great job completed. We are very pleased we chose Milestone Electric.

We have used Milestone Electric several times and each time we have been extremely pleased. They are courteous, professional and their quality of work is exceptional. We purchased their Family Protection Plan and would highly recommend Milestone Electric to our family and friends. The electricians have explained everything before doing any of the work. All of the electricians have been wonderful and Chris Bible is an outstanding young man.

I called Milestone Electric and they came out the same day to fix some broken outlets and give me quotes on adding some lights. Dustin was friendly and knew what he was doing and I felt very comfortable with him in my home. I like that they give quotes for what you want done and you have 90 days to decide if you want to have the work done. Very happy and will definitely recommend and use in the future.

I called Milestone Electric to replace lighting fixtures due to water damage. The job turned out to be more involved than I expected. Nick was extremely helpful, explained in detail the work that needed to be done and met his commitments to me. I was so impressed with the service, I had Nick provide estimates for additional work while he was on site. I definitely will remain a Milestone customer.

I had the nicest guy (Wade) come and install a couple of ceiling fans in my home. He was very talkative and we spoke almost the entire time while he was doing his installation. Milestone Electric is a great company and I was very pleased to say the least. The only thing I did have a concern about was their prices. It seemed very expensive to install just a typical outlet in the garage at $284.

We are very pleased with the work Martin (the tech Milestone sent out) did for us. Our light fixture on the ceiling fan was shooting out sparks. Martin took out the old fixture and put in a new one. He did a fantastic job . This is the second time I have used Milestone and definetly will call them again if we have a problem. Thanks again Milestone for work well done, at a great price.
Tips & Advices
Keep the following tips in mind:
  • Do not operate any electrical equipment while sitting or standing in water.
  • Don't overload extension cords or surge protectors.
  • Put caps on your electrical outlets if you have small children.
  • Call an electrician if you notice your sockets or switches are warm to the touch, discolored or if they make noise.
  • Keep electrical cords away from stoves, ovens and other sources of heat.
  • Do not use an appliance that has a frayed cord.
  • Do not staple extension cords into place or cover them with carpets or furniture.
  • When using extension cords, make sure to unwrap them before plugging them in.
  • Don't overuse extension cords. Have an electrician install extra outlets if you need a power source closer to you.
  • Only use light bulbs with the correct wattage for your lamps and light fixtures.
  • Contact a licensed electrician if you frequently blow fuses, since this can be a sign of an electrical wiring problem.
  • Have an electrician look at your fuse box to ensure you have the right size fuses and circuit breakers. The wrong size fuse or breaker can be a fire hazard.
  • If you have fault circuit interrupters installed in your electrical panel, make sure you test them at least once a month by turning them on and off.
It can cost from $40-$100 an hour depending on the job. This does not include additional costs for parts or trip fees. Make sure to ask in advance what they charge for or if they will provide a free quote.
In order to become a full-fledged professional, a person must undergo an apprenticeship with master and journeyman electricians. An apprentice needs 8,000 hours of practical work before graduating to the journeyman level. If an apprentice reaches journeyman status, he or she can complete most electrical work, but cannot design it until completing more testing along with 2,000 more on-the-job hours.
Yes. While all electricians need a license, not all of them do the same types of jobs.
  • Outside: These types of electricians work outdoors on electrical lines that connect to power plants.
  • Inside: Inside experts typically focus on commercial and industrial buildings that require a lot of power.
  • Residential: Residential electricians work with low-voltage systems and wiring to install fuse boxes and light fixtures.
Watch out for contractors that greatly underbid other electricians. If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. Also, always remember to get the estimate in writing before settling on a company.
