This was my first time purchasing a Honda at V.I.P. and I will definitely be back again. My salesperson Jose Fernandez was straight forward, friendly, and very knowledgeable. If he didn't know the answer to a question I had regarding the CR-V EXL, he found out the correct answer was and didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. His follow-up is fantastic, he is quick to respond to a call or text, and he made the deal happen! When it came time to talk with the sales manager Vanco Etimov he was personable, courteous, and not high pressure. The paperwork went very smoothly with the business manager John Castellanos. There were no surprises, he thoroughly explained all the closing documents, and he was respectful of my time. If you are in the market for a Honda you need to go the V.I.P. Honda and ask for Jose Fernandez. He will treat you right and get you the deal want without all the games!This was my first time purchasing a Honda at V.I.P. and I will definitely be back again. We visited VIP Honda a few weeks ago on a Saturday morning. It was the third dealership we visited looking to trade in our 2013 Honda Accord and purchase a 2017 CRV. In other area dealerships, we were so disappointed with the treatment we received from both the sale reps and then the dealership managers. We did not want to be sold. The way numbers were presentenced to us in other dealerships was so deceptive. Much like the nut under the shell. It was exhausting. We knew what we wanted and what we were willing to pay. I reluctantly agreed to visit VIP Honda in North Plainfield, NJ. We met David Otero. We told him what we wanted and what we wanted to pay. David listened. He was direct, clear and explained exactly how VIP would offer us the best deal possible. And, they did. We also met Rich Jakubowski. Both David and Rich were outstanding. They were us with warm, friendly and treated us with respect. We purchased our new CRV. I must say, we have never had such a wonderful experience buying a new car as we did with VIP Honda. Thank you, David. Thank you for listening to us and helping us to enjoy our new CRV.

I contacted VIP HONDA on Thursday March 12, 2015 about 6:42pm in the evening after being burnt by another sales person from another Honda Dealership. I was able to speak with Jeannette Macpherson, the VIP HONDA internet sales Rep who listened to me vent for about a half an hour about my bad experience with the other dealership. Jeannette agreed to match the written price that I got from the other dealership and by Saturday March 14, 2015 at 11am, I entered VIP Honda. I met with Jeanette and the sales person Alex Veras, who was great and actually patient given that I was extremely apprehensive. I met with Charles, the sales Manager and Phillip, the general manager and we completed the sale at the previously agreed price. I did my financing with Juan and got my 0.9% financing and was out the door by 2pm, in enough time to get to work on time. I don't ever recall leaving any car dealership in this record time. I don't ever recall visiting any dealership where games were not played. I must say, my experience with the VIP Honda team was very positive and I highly recommend this dealership.

Unlike many vehicle repair experiences I always look forward to a visit to VIP Honda service center. The team here is friendly, knowledgable and they take the time with each customer to ensure you understand service scope, problems, cost and time to completion. The entire team customer team Gwen, Ted, Phil and John and the service technician staff behind the scenes always impress me with their customer at center focus. I had a gear grinding noise in my vehicle; they had a technician (Sam) go for a ride with me and he spent a good 15 minutes working to identify the problem. Upon returning he discussed the solution and the service team worked out cost that was acceptable.. Even though I often work from their comfortable wifi cafe munching on the complimentary bagels, Danish, coffee, juice and water they often offer me a loaner so I can go about my day. Their wifi is good so I am able to work right from the cafe, very convenient. This is the best it gets!

My husband and I were looking to replace an old minivan and considered 3 different makes and models with one being the Honda. We were looking to buy a 2010 or 2011 depending on the price. We went in on a Saturday evening which was a little crazy on our part because it was so busy. We were greeted pretty quickly after walking into the showroom. The salesperson was knowledgeable about the vehicles and seemed genuinely interested in earning our business rather than just having it.In the end we got a fair price based upon what I found on the internet. There was some additional salesmanship in terms of add-ons and pricing, but not more than expected and not pushy in any way - it was always respectfully done. We got the vehicle we wanted. We got treated well going throughout the whole process. Bottom line is that we felt at comfortable and not pressured into anything especially with the vehicle and deal that we got. We would highly recommend VIP Honda!

I just bought a mini van and after looking around several Honda dealers in the tri-state area, I finally walked into VIP Honda. The first time me and my wife went in there, they gave me a great deal on what I wanted to buy but I thought I could find better and walked out. After a couple of weeks in the market, I realized that VIP Honda was the best. Their people, their process and their price - cannot beat them. My sales person was a really nice and friendly gentleman by the name of Roman Alpin. He welcomed us into the showroom and gave us all the information that we needed to make our decision. Very kind and understanding man. In addition to car negotiation, he would also indulge in small personal talk about family values, his own life etc. Very refreshing, especially cause no one does it these days. Very friendly family atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Roman to any prospective buyer that walks into this showroom.

I have owned 5 Honda Accords since 1985 & when it came time to replace my 2003 EXL coupe (203,000+ miles), there was no question that I would buy another Accord. I have been maintaining my vehicles @ VIP Honda for the past 12 years & can only say positive things about the service department. Gil Cotto, my sales representative, was a wonderful person to work with -- caring, attentive, knowledgeable. He guided me through every step & set up my cell phone with blue tooth & demonstrated a number of new features. Rita Duffy, customer service manager, explained the VIP Honda Rewards Program. Vanessa worked with me on the financial details. My relationship with VIP started in the service department and I look forward to working with them -- Gwen, Phil, Ted & now Gil. Come in for coffee, bagels & a newspaper while you wait -- if not get a loaner. VIP Honda treats you like family !

Luis offered great service when we went to get a used SUV. We wanted a good-size car. The car we saw online was already sold out. Luis showed a CR-V instead that was perfectly detailed and in a great shape. He let us test drive the car and offered a great price on it. Although he spent hours with us and we pulled out at the last moment literally right before signing the contract, Luis had such great patience and was kind about it. He said he really wants us to feel satisfied with the purchase. They so deserve a great review for the quality of the product and the service they offered. Oh and the owner Mr. Vince came to us and chatted with us. He was a handsome, charming, and young ;) gentleman. Just when you go see a car, make sure you research profusely and know clearly what you want. Otherwise, you may end up making a rash decision you might regret later

VIP is the dealership closest to my home, so on a whim I stopped in with no appt. and no idea if they had one in stock for a test drive. Had the great good fortune to be greeted by Luis Cubi. This fireball knows the products and knows how to make a sale! Four hours of his non-stop energy pulling the deal together and coordinating the efforts of the folks in various departments and I'm driving away in my new Accord. No jerking around, no high-pressure up-selling. I got exactly what I wanted at a fair price. I've been buying cars for 50 years and this was by far the best experience I've had. Luis treated with respect and consideration at every step (e.g. making sure I was comfortable during the necessary waits and keeping me apprised of progress). A very positive experience befitting a great car!

This is a very fine Honda Dealership. VIP Honda on Route 22 is one of the newer Honda dealerships with the light facade with blue Honda sign. They have a lot of cars out front, and just about every model in the showroom. The receptionist and sales person I worked with were very helpful and attentive. It did not take long for him to find a car for me, and have it brought round the front for a test drive. The car was clean (no plastic around the floor and handles - it had been properly cleaned). Once back at the showroom there was no playing games over price. They gave me a good price from the beginning, and all in all we wrapped everything up quickly. This is a very straight forward, easy-going dealership.
