Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
Scheduling is easy with Roto-Rooter. You just tell them when you need a plumber and they respond immediately. You receive a courtesy call to confirm the appointment the day of, and the plumber arrives within the scheduled time.Domenic was knowledgable and professional. He walked me through my concern and did a brief inspection of the area. He made a few recommendations and assured that Roto-Rooter would work with me if I was interested in updating some problem areas. We discussed a plan and cost before proceeding. The work was done on time and everything looks great. Thanks Domenic & Roto-Rooter!

called about several plumbing problems. Plumber Leo C. came and did a fine job. He was everything that you want in a professional. Would have him back if ever needed.

Not helpful. Very Expensive. Paid $375 to have camera run through pipe. Couldn't find problem. Upon removing camera found problem about 12 inches below surface, gave me a quote of $1200 to fix. No Thank You! My husband and I fixed on our own for less than $20. After a few days still getting water in basement. So I paid a lot of money to not get a good answer to what my problem was. I will not call Roto-Rooter again.

Everything was good except the price. They would not give me a price over the phone. When the plumber showed up, he said it's $315.00 for everybody. When I said no thank you, he immediately said "how about $200.00?" I let him do it for that price because I was pressed for time. There are definitely companies that will snake your drain and put a camera down in it for $100.00 or even less.

I do not know anything about the expertise that this person may or may not have. I called him and he could not come out that day. Completely understandable! I am glad that he has business to keep him occupied. I sent him some pictures, as asked, and let him know the issue. He suggested that I try the normal fix, replacing the cartridge again, as he would have to charge me if he came out. Again, respectable. He lost me when I tried it again and called him the next day. He told me the price of his coming, and asked if he wanted me to come. Again, normal question. The difference is that he told me that he wasn't "playing around" and acted as if I was wasting his time. Also, he could give no guarantee, or glimpse of assurance, that he would be effective at all at fixing my problem - leaving that up to me to decide (problem is - I called him because I am not a plumber). So, I had a decision to make. But, apparently not long to make it as (a timed) 40 seconds into the entire conversation he hung up on me saying that he was not coming. I am honestly glad that he is not. This was a pretty bad final interaction. He might usually be awesome. This is just my experience.

Barak Plumbing
Golan Barak did some plumbing work in my basement bathroom. We went over the job, he completely ignored all the work I need. When he went to start on it, he tried to get out of half the things we agreed to and charge me the same price!!! The work that he did was terrible, the toilet flange was too low and tilted! The pipe leaked and floor I was going to lay tile on still had gravel exposed, when the rest of the floor was a smooth concrete finish. When I bought these issue up, he started yelling and swearing at me!!! Then forced entry into my home and assaulted my husband and I !!! Look up the court documents https://ujsportal.pacourts.us/DocketSheets/MDJ.aspx

Benjamin Home Services
I have used Kamand Locksmith for years and they are wonderful every time. This time, Eddie came on a Saturday to take care of an urgent request .... and did so with a smile. He is so kind, professional, efficient and just a pleasure to work with. I would never use anyone else but these guys.

Swimming Pool Discounters
Very disappointed in dealing with this company. I ordered a deck kit from Swimming Pool Discounters on February 16, it is now March 14, and I still do not have all the materials to build the deck. The materials came from Home Depot, and the cut list was as long as the parts list. They stated the lumber was "pre-cut", which was NOT TRUE. It also requires massive drilling for the lag bolts, and I am still waiting for the materials. I will never order from this company again. This company is not a manufacturer, its a mark up middleman.

Swimming Pool Discounters
Man I really wish I had found these reviews before I ordered. I am having the same issues as everyone else. So far they have robbed my little boys Christmas actually the family Christmas as the pool was our Christmas. Now I have a pool I didn't order, no plumbing, the pump and filter I payed nearly 400.00 is missing the filter making it useless, Bob is rude, keeps brushing us off hanging up saying he wil call later never calls back.Dealing with a guy named Nick praying he fixes this..The idea of filing a small claims suit is ridiculous. Over a pool! But we don't have the money to just throw away and we will have to take the proper steps to get our hard earned money back if needed..This is gutting and heartbreaking. So far a terrible gut wrenching experience. Buyers beware! Please read reviews..I will post a follow up review if this Nick fixes all that is wrong. But for now I would say stay away from this company. Yes the prices are very appealing and thats what sucked us in. PLEASE spend the extra money on a more repeatable company.
Tips & Advices
Essential pool cleaning supplies include a skimmer, pool brushes, a telescopic pool pole, and a vacuum. A water test kit is also essential, as it allows you to gauge the water quality and add solutions/chemicals as needed to balance the water. If you have a saltwater pool, you won’t add compound chlorine, but it will still require chemicals, as well as needing to be super-chlorinated  (aka “shocked”) once a week.
The primary benefits of a saltwater pool are that the water is less harsh/irritating to skin and eyes than a chlorine-treated pool--and free of the chemical chlorine smell. Also, saltwater pools are less expensive upfront at the time of installation. (However, saltwater pools tend to be more expensive to maintain.) Saltwater pool still require regular upkeep--daily skimming, but they require less complex routines in terms of chemical monitoring and balancing. Weekly monitoring is just for three things: free chlorine, cyanuric acid stabilizer, and pH.
An automatic pool cleaner vacuums debris and dirt from the pool and brushes the surfaces clean. The basic models have a suction nozzle and a hose, and connect to the pool’s strainer basket and filter. These are suction-side or pressure-side pool cleaners. Robotic pool cleaners, which are used to clean larger pools, are self-contained and much more expensive. The appeal of all automatic pool cleaners is that they work with little to no human supervision.
Maintaining a residential swimming pool typically costs $150-$250 per month for DIY maintenance/cleaning. The cost of running the filter pump is additional. This increases by around $100-$200 a month for professional cleaning, and $100-200 if you need to keep it heated. If you only use your pool during certain seasons, it costs a few-hundred dollars to “open” it for the swimming season (a heavy clean and professional water balance).
A swimming pool needs to be cleaned once a week. Some people maintain it much more painstakingly--skimming every other day, brushing algae-prone areas twice weekly, and vacuuming more than once weekly. Do not forget to clean the pool pumps thoroughly every couple months.
