Steel City Garage Door
The office on the phone was responsive and scheduled someone for the next morning to give us an estimate for new springs system replacement. I searched for the cheapest company, and when I called them, they said clearly: We are not the cheapest one. Since they had good reviews, I decided to go with them and pay the service fee.Sam (the Tech.) really knows customer service, followed up on every question and issue I had with the new springs system installed. I am really happy I found this company, and I am planning to use their services in future garage door repair. No doubt, I had a great experience with steel city garage doors!Truly a 5 star operation.

Steel City Garage Door
I was very pleased with Steel City Garage Door's service. Within 5 hours of the initial phone call, they were at my house and replaced my entire garage door. My car just slipped on the snow into the door and my house was exposed to the sever cold we had here. Mendi and his apprentice (forgot his name) took very good care of me and everything was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new garage door and the installation process was just as great. Thanks again for the great and extremely prompt service. Hope you all at Steel city garage doors have a Merry Christmas and happy new year.

Hickman Garage Doors
Hickman Garage Door repairs made a service call to my aging mother's residence hours ahead of schedule and diagnosed, solved and repaired the problem quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this company and it's owner, Kirby HIckman to any of my family, friends and neighbors without hesitation. He and his team members are courteous, professional, and experienced. That said, I think a five (5) star rating is excellent , but if I could have given this company more, I would have. Thank you Kirby Hickman and your entire team and company.

Tips & Advices
Monthly, carefully observe the door as you open and close it. If you hear or see anything unusual, take a closer look. The regular motion could loosen up some of the hardware, so take a few minutes to tighten everything up. Also, be sure that tracks, tires, and other moving parts are lubricated. If your door is painted, make sure it isn't chipped or peeling. Deteriorating paint on a wooden door could let moisture in, which leads to warped doors, while a steel door could rust.
On average, a new garage door installation will cost around $1,000. Most homeowners end up paying somewhere between $740 and $1,400, including the installation and the door itself.
It depends. For someone who tackles home improvement projects, installing a garage door might be a viable do-it-yourself project. An experienced wood or metal worker can install with the right materials, tools, and knowledge. Someone less experienced should contact a professional. Depending on the size, a door could weigh as much as 200 pounds, though some smaller or uninsulated ones could be less than 100 pounds.
If you begin to notice this around a change in seasons, check the lubricant on the tracks. Weather patterns will affect lubricant's effectiveness. Dirt or debris on the tracks could also be the cause; make sure they're clear and clean. If the tracks look fine, make sure the doors are hung evenly.
It could mean your tracks are either dented, falling, or otherwise misaligned. Misaligned or damaged tracks can cause the door to cease working or fall off its tracks. If your door is stuck, slanted, or looks unstable, call a professional who will have the right tools to fix the problem.
