Lionel Weller came and serviced our home and was polite and seemed to know what he was talking about and did an excellent job.

My technician was Terrill Miller and he was very professional and polite. He came to my door, introduced himself and explained why he was there and what he would do. I watched him do his work and he was very exceptional. I am pleased with him and Aptive.

An Aptive sales person came to my door. He was very confident. He insisted that all of my neighbors were getting this service, only to find out that they did not. The next day the Aptive pest control company sprayed the interior and exterior of my home. I was given a card that said "dewebbing was done" it was not. I was still seeing ants and spiders all throughout and outside my home. I called them back 2 weeks later to do a dewebbing and treatment for bugs and ants. They did not show up but I got an email saying that the service was performed. I called again for a third service. They sent their "best" service provider. She was the best I have seen so far. I showed the Aptive service people ants crawling around. They seem to only want to spray the replant down and not want to deal with the ants that are already there. This is a company who has a procedure to spray replant like crazy but not treat the problem or look for problems. I am very unsatisfied with this company and would not recommend Aptive. I called to cancel my account and they insisted I would be charged $150 because I breached the contract. The $150 is definitely in there to convince dissatisfied customers not to break contract.

Very pleased with the service I received from Richard. I mentioned two areas of concern and he made sure to address these issues. I haven't seen the two spiders or their webs since the treatment last month!

Jackie Zastrow was here yesterday for a quarterly service. She called 30 minutes in advance and was very friendly, professional, and on time. She went around and checked for bees nests, as I know we had at least one up high.

I've been using Aptive for about a year after switching from another company. Christopher Tame is my service rep and does a great job. Very professional, friendly and takes the time to listen and explain treatment for all of my areas of concern.

Jackie Zastrow went above and beyond a service call to my home to help me straighten out a billing issue I had. Over the past month I left multiple messages via phone and voiced my concern to several other service reps who came to my home regarding the issue with no resolution. I thought I would try one last time and mentioned it to Jackie. Within 15 minutes she had it straightened out. Thank you so much Jackie. I hope your company values your commitment.
Tips & Advices
Baits can be effective in situations where you're dealing with a relatively small number of pests. But in cases where there is a full infestation, pest control sprays usually provide a quicker and more thorough solution. Keep in mind, though, that sprays can be toxic to both humans and the environment. In many cases, baiting can be a safer and less hazardous choice.
Yes, many commercial pest control companies offer green products. Certain pest control chemicals can be harmful to both humans and the environment. Some commercial pest control companies use eco-friendly, biodegradable options to keep pests in check, with active ingredients such as mint, rosemary, thyme, boric acid, and diatomaceous earth.
In many cases, pest control methods used in commercial and residential environments are the same, but there may be differences in the way these methods are implemented. For example, both residential and commercial pest control may incorporate pest exclusion, which aims to keep pests out by sealing and securing a building's access points. Since many commercial facilities cover much more space than the typical residence, implementation of this approach would be different.
Commercial pest control differs from residential in the amount of care required. Because many commercial facilities are much larger than the typical home or apartment, commercial pest control often entails more frequent service. While residential pest control usually requires monthly or quarterly service, commercial pest control may take place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Certain pests are common in commercial settings. Rats and mice plague many businesses of all types. In addition to carrying diseases, such as tuberculosis and salmonella, rodents can cause costly damage by gnawing into pipe work and electrical wires. Bed bugs are a growing nuisance. These pests may be found in hotels and student accommodations, and they can even infest office furniture. Flies are commonly found in restaurants, bars, and food factories.
