YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I have been a customer for many years and am continuously impressed with Vince's interest in offering new cutting edge products and services to his customers. I have really short hair, so I get my hair cut about every 4 weeks and every month when I step foot in the door, Vince is eager to tell me about some new and better product to help with smoothing out my curly, out-of-control frizzy hair. He goes above and beyond my expectations for my hair stylist. The nail salon is super clean. Dee is amazing. Overall, the staff are friendly, and remember who you are - it's almost like an episode of Cheers!

I've been growing my hair out for a year b/c of a bad cut I got a while back from another place. I researched good, affordable hair salons, and it came down to this salon and a place in Shadyside. Luckily for me, I chose this place and happened to get Sarah, who I've read positive reviews about, and got an awesome haircut. I brought a picture to show her how I wanted my hair cut, and she understood exactly what I wanted. She was professional, attentive, and explained what she was doing. Now I know where I'll be going for as long as I live in Pittsburgh.

I have been going to Jamie for about a year. My hair has never been so beautiful and manageable. She did not style the cut, she cut the style. I still get compliments from strangers six weeks after my haircut appointment, when I am due for my next cut. Until Jamie, I always pulled my hair back into a ponytail. My cut is so easy to take care of, I haven't worn a ponytail since I first sat in her chair. Jamie applies my relaxers and waxes my eyebrows. She is always pleasant and professional. I don't think I have ever seen her in a bad mood. She does an excellent job on my hard to relax hair. It has never been so healthy and my ends are no longer prone to split. The only spa service I receive is the eyebrow waxing. It's never pleasant, but Jamie does a great job. She is experienced and amazing. During my regular cut and style appointment, I am in and out in around a half an hour. I always look and feel wonderful leaving the shop. Until I found Jamie I didn't have the time or energy for a haircare routine, now I can't see how I managed without one. You can't put a price on beauty, but just know that the price is right. I have referred all of my family, friends and anyone who stops me on the street.

Tom, the owner and operator of the Golden Razor, is hands down the best barber in the city of Pittsburgh. From the moment you walk into the shop, you feel like you have known the native Italian for years. Tom is always sure to offer his clientel a drink and a magazine to read while waiting, and his ability to carry conversations without gossiping is an old-fashioned barbershop talent. Tom is able to cut his patrons' hair to their specifications -- he also trims beards, eyebrows, (along with any bit of unsightly hair), and he offers an old fashioned-full shave -- hot towels and all. For a very reasonable price ($12 per cut, 20 w/shave) you can have your hair cut and leave with a smile on your face. However, because Tom is the busiest barber in the city, it is best to call for the best times to get your new 'dew.

12.Paul Pirollo Barber Shop
724 N Sheridan Ave
Classic barber shop. Paul Pirollo is an experienced Italian guy who will make you look great. It's a small, neighborhood establishment, superb atmosphere. It appeals to a man of class and a man of taste. This is coming from a long-time customer. Again, classic style; I don't know if Mr. Pirollo can do punk hairstyles, but he's pretty skilled. PS I'm a white guy, so I can say that Mr. Pirollo does white people hair pretty well. I'm not sure if he does a lot of other types of hair, but I don't mean anything by that, apart from the types of hair alone. It's not very expensive. I leave big tips, but even so I'm only out about $15 each time. Price might change, but Mr. Pirollo keeps it pretty low.

21.Sam's Barber Shop
619 Forest Ave,
I just moved to this area, and I saw there was this barbershop about a five minute walk away from home. So I checked it out and hoped it'd be a nice place to go to regularly since over half of my head is shaved and it needs kept up with every few weeks. If you're into REAL OLD fashioned barbers, who think women are idiots, oh and you must be a man, I'd totally recommend this place. However, if you're a decent human being, I would suggest a different place. From the second I walked in, I didn't like it. I got treated like I was some lost little girl who had no business in a barber shop. The first guy pushed me off onto another because he obviously didn't want to deal with me. They weren't willing to work with me. I didn't know the length I got last time and rather than going and trying different lengths like every other barber would've done for me, they just got some weird attitude with me. They talked down to me. My hair is short just like any other guys'. So I didn't see what the problem was. Guess I'm just missing the "correct parts." Glad I didn't waste my time and money here. Hope you don't either.
