Total Air and Appliances
We use this company services when our handyman cant take care of our appliances. They are very knowledgeable, honest, and competitive price-wise. The reason for four stars, but not five, is sometimes, for non-emergency services, they reschedule, but always discuss it with us first. But for refrigerators repairs you can expect them same day. Although, it took us about two weeks instead of the promised two days to do the research about the client's microwave issue with a fairly inappropriate level of the repair process communication during this Thanksgiving season, it was still a great pleasure to hear "I will absolutely be calling in a future with any other appliance repair needs. I'm impressed, now!"thank you, Alan M. We'll be glad to help again!By Total Air and Appliances crew

Denis was called to fix my A/c while it was 110 in Phoenix. He quickly called and was willing to fix my unit even at 2am! My A/c was diagnosed and quickly fixed the same day. Reliable, dependable, trustworthy! Thank you Denis for honestly evaluating and quickly fixing the issue especially on such short notice!

I found Total Air by reading reviews on them after my washing machine died. When I called Dennis said he would be out the next morning and would call first. I waited until 30 minutes after his final time to come here, then I called him. I was angry; however he told me his phone had died the night before and my info was on it. Ok, it can happen and he was willing to adjust the price down because of this. At this point at least 3 times I had asked him if he took credit cards and he said yes, although there was a discount by paying cash. Once he was at my house and had started working on my washer, he then informed me that he wanted cash. I was furious because I don't keep that kind of cash around and I wouldn't have used him had I known-I really needed to put it on a card, which he would not do it. I did finally tell him I would give him a check and he then proceeded to charge me the credit card cost. I argued and we agreed at a half-way point. He did fix the machine; however a couple weeks later the identical thing happened. By the time he came out 4 days later, it was somehow working again. He did not look at anything and said we'll wait. Just a short time after that, the same thing happened. He picked the day and time that he would come out and look-and he never called or came out. When I called him, he really had no answer, just that he could have been a better communicator. He asked me what he could do to make my feelings better towards him. I pretty much told him nothing at this point would change them, and he then said he would return my money I had paid him within 72 hours. I told him if he did I would not put bad reviews out on him. I'm sure I don't have to tell you I've never seen a dollar. I would not recommend this company as they were unprofessional and unresponsive with me.

Clean and professional job installing our new a/c. They gave us the best quote via phone, but it took them longer: instead of one day, it took them two days. We are happy with the quality, though

Tips & Advices
Water leakage is usually caused by a blockage of the defrost drain by food or debris. The ensuing overflow can leak inside the refrigerator or outside. This problem is often an easy DIY fix--just clean the debris away. If you cannot locate it, it could be a clog of the system and might require a technician.
The most common cause of a refrigerator running is a faulty seal, usually on the door, allowing a constant flow of warm, humid air into the unit. To combat the warm air, the refrigerator’s cooling system kicks in and might stay on. This can cause strain on the cooling unit, not to mention higher utility bills.
The most common reason an ice maker stops making ice is a faulty water supply line. The most likely culprits are the supply line being frozen, broken, disconnected, or the filter being clogged, which prevents water from passing through.
The most common refrigerator maintenance issue is the most obvious: The refrigerator isn’t cold enough. Next is a faulty ice maker, the refrigerator not functioning at all, the unit is making strange noises, and the dispenser units are not dispensing water and/or ice.
Frost buildup in the freezer is a result of warm, humid air entering the freezer and then freezing. It could be as simple as frequent opening and closing of the door, or a faulty door seal allowing air to flow in. If those are not the issues, the automatic defrost system might be malfunctioning and require servicing.
