Bell Ridge Animal Hospital
I was worried about my newly adopted Chihuahua's nightly cough. They got me in the next day. They were thorough and handled my nervous boy well. I also thought their prices were very fair and appreciated the well kept exam rooms. I also love that they welcome patient calls and give helpful advice to everyday problems not requiring an exam (flea medication recommendations, minor scrapes, etc.).

Magdalena's Beauty Salon
She was short and rude with both me and the other person who was with me. Wouldn't help the other person because she had over booked and was even more rude about that. To top it off I tried to explain to her what I wanted with my hair but instead of listening to me she kept telling me it's was her business and she knew what she was doing and then procided to butcher my hair. Would not recommend

The Cleaning Solution
The first invoice, after payment, they sent me was not what I paid for, it was for 2 cleaners for two hours, not 2 for 4 hours.First appointment was an 8-12 but the cleaner called in sick. I was told at about 8:30am. I’d already left work in order to receive the cleaner and taken unpaid time off work.TCS tried to reschedule me, I had to make it on a Friday so as to avoid taking unpaid time off work, they offered an appointment that was 5 weeks out. I explained that would not work that it needed to be in the next 6 days which left only on Friday (which is a day off work for me).I eventually got it rescheduled for my day off. It didn’t happen at this time either. They told me this would be at noon, I left work, drove 30 minutes, to be there to receive the cleaners. At about 1:30 I called TCS to ask where they were, TCS stated the cleaners were probably taking lunch and that she’d call to find out. Also that she could use GPS to find out where they were. The cleaning crew called about 2pm, to say they would be 30 minutes, 45 minutes later TCS called to say they had been in an accident and that they’d call me back. I’d wasted too much time there already so I left. TCS then called and wanted to try and get someone out that day but I’d already hung around long enough for them. The service had to be rescheduled take unpaid time off work. For the third appointment I was promised that the cleaners would turn up between 7:30-8:30am. At 8:45am TCS text saying “The team will call you shortly with the arrival time”. At 9:29am I text back saying I’d still had no word. Almost immediately the cleaner called to say they’d be a half our until arrival. The cleaner had to ask for my address because TCS had not shared it with her, she stated she’d been reassigned. It was 10:09am when they eventually turned up. I got a text from the cleaner at 1:36pm asking where they should leave the key and that they were over their time at 2:09pm.To be continued

North Phoenix Spay & Neuter Clinic
Unfortunately the customer service has gone from what used to 5 stars to less than 1 star!! Front desk personnel need training on how to treat customers. Specifically when mistakes are being made left and right by the staff. They also need to know not to leave the front desk completely unattended and the door to the pharmacy wide open. If this were my business I would be more cautious of who is manning the shop and customers. 15 years of good service for many animals, and I feel I can't trust this vet anymore, too bad!

Stonecrest Animal Hospital
My dog hadn't eaten for a couple of days and then I found blood on the bed this morning.. very listless. Called my Banfield and one other one and neither one could get him in. Have pet insurance there and have taken my dogs to Banfield for years. I called Stonecrest, which is nearby and they said if I could be there in 20 minutes, they could take him. They got him in shortly and gave him some antibiotics. I really appreciated their help and courtesy/

VCA Northern Animal Hospital
Our puppy was extremely sick (found out it was parvo) called them, saw us right away, they WEREN'T concerned about if we had the visit $$ & actually saw us BEFORE any $$ was discussed ) UNLIKE MOST of the veterinary clinics/hospitals these days!!The WHOLE staff was professional, caring, sympathetic, empathetic, extremely helpful, went above & beyond anything I had expected or ever experienced at other $$ hungry vet clinics! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this AMAZING clinic for your beloved fur babies!!!

Generaciones Salon
This salon is the worst salon to ever exist! My mom went to go get her hair colored. A strawberry blond and came out with bright red hair with pink! The lady still wanted to charge her full price $210. Talk about no expertise what so ever! Never going back there in my life!

Way Cool Hair/ Hair Pollution
If you have dreads you have to see Jaelen, she is truly outstanding. She's fast and very cool to hang out with for an hour or 2 +. Best loctician in Phoenix, hands down.
Tips & Advices
Many services offer long-term contracts that include regularly scheduled cleanings. These contracts sometimes, but do not always, result in discounted prices. Most cleaning services offer discounts in exchange for customer referrals.
Homeowners should review their cleaning service's damage/breakage policy. Some businesses compensate for damaged items, while others do not.
Not always. Before hiring a cleaning service, homeowners should confirm the company verifies its employees' identities and performs background checks. Those planning to hire a self-employed cleaner rather than go through a business should inquire about background check options available from their state's attorney general.
  • The annual costs. Weekly services quickly add up, and homeowners may need to pay additional taxes if they choose a self-employed cleaner.
  • Language barriers and miscommunications. Some professional cleaners might speak English as a second language .
  • Background checks and employment verification. Homeowners can be held liable if they employ a person not legally permitted to work in the U.S.
Some services charge more for pets while others do not. Regardless, homeowners should keep in mind that any pet-related cleaning, such as emptying a litter box, adds to the amount of time the service charges for.
