YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I walked in and my mouth dropped. Compared to my "home" gym I was floored at how huge this place was, clean, at the many machines, racquetball courts, basketball courts, the huge class room, huge swimming pool and Jacuzzi, the many cycling machines for the cycling class, the punching bags, the weights, so many weights...And it's air-conditioned! And it smelled so clean... I arrived to the class 30 minutes early because I'm used to my overcrowded gym where people arrive an hour early for class, save spots, etc...I grabbed my mat, picked my spot, and waited patiently...I waited and waited for other people to come into the room...About 5 minutes left to class I wondered if maybe the class was cancelled...Then slowly people startled to trickle in... Members here aren't as rude and respect personal space... For those wondering, I did the yoga class with Glenda...She's a great teacher, down to earth and super helpful...She's the type of teacher that walks around to help you correct your poses...

The day care I used was awful. I was taking a swim fitness class and the day care person called me out of the pool to give my son a bottle. Seriously? He's in there for a reason. Then when I tried to cancel my service the company gave me a piece of paper to mail in. 4 months after mailing it in I had to cancel my debit card to stop their fradulent charges to my bank account. I highly suggest you go to a different company.

i woulnot recommend anyone looking for a decent place to workout. the workers are unprofessional, rude and have no costomer service and have no clue what they are doing. i have been a member for over 2 yrs, and have been continually disappointed with there services. my first bad experience happened when i first signed up.......the manager lied to me that i could cancel my membeship at anytime...the reality of it is, you have to cancel your membership 30days ahead of time. secondly i had two separate incidents, where the recruitors for the body and change...approached me and inapproriately told me they could work me into shape is i signed up with them!!"" my problem was the way they approached me......i felt violeted on two separate occassions, needless to say i was already signed-up with the body and change, and because i was very upset with this two incidents, i decide to freeze my account untill father notice..........three months down the road i check my account and they had activated my acccount without my consent........i called the office and i was pretty much give the run around and told i had to pay 50% of the remaining fee in order to cancel my account. thirdly..a few months later i canceled my family members from my account and two months later they were still charging me for their membership...again i called and went there personally and non of the worker seemed to know how this happend .....at this time i was totally fed-up with LA fitness, so i asked one of the ladies at the reception desk to give me the corpate office number so i can talk to someone who knew what was going on.......and she flat-out told me, they did not have a corparate number, i needed to go to the internet and find the number, well i went home, logged in the web site.....and behold....there was no corparate phone number...all they had was a po box for you to mail info. well i don't think anyone one needs to go thro this just to get fit..there are better places/fitness clubs!

Be careful when signing up. I recently signed up at this gym and despite asking for the most basic package, they only gave me the choice between the two most expensive packages. I was paying $50 a month. When I went back in, the general manager and the assistant general manager Cory and Klaus were extremely unprofessional in handling the situation. Instead of providing me the refund they agreed to over the phone, they said to expect an email in the next week. Make sure you ask about all of the packages they offer and if they're tacking add ones to the price (guest passes, multi club privileges, etc.)

Great staff...great personal trainers...fairly new equipment and lots of parking but when I finished my work outs and went downstairs...holy jebbers!!! The pool was clean, the whirlpool was clean, the showers were alright but if you're looking to steam or sauna after your work out think twice. I walked into the steam and a woman was applying conditioner to her hair so I went next door to the sauna....I couldn't believe it. Everyone had their towels on the rack in front of the hot rocks; one guy pulled up a chair, put his sweaty shirt on it, his socks, his towel, all to dry then went into the steam!!! The next day some old guy put his towel over the rocks until it was smoldering....I think I'll pass on this one until management ups it's standards a bit. Allison
