I currently live in Utah and my wife and I have a home in Arizona that is currently be rented out. Recently our tenants advised us of some ongoing issues with the AC Unit on the home. After doing some research and talking to a couple of different companies we finally decided to do our business with Ace. I was very satisfied with their service they provided me and the residents of our home. They were very professional, and also very understanding in the situation where we could not be present for the repairs as the home owners. They also did me the extended courtesy of keeping me and our current tenants in the loop with what was going on and what needed to be done. All in all I am very pleased with the customer service and professionalism from all the staff members that I encountered in handling my business with ACE.
Superb service. I got this company through my home warranty and as such didn't expect much. What a surprise! They came out on the weekend at no additional charge to me and fixed the unit on the spot. Here's the kicker, though -- I had already had an expensive quote from one of the larger companies in town (I won't say which one, but the owner likes to dress up and call himself "Melvin") and they had told me I needed a motor and a capacitor and it was going to cost $900 to fix it, which is why I placed a call into my home warranty company. The Consolidated tech found nothing wrong with the motor at all, the issue was thermostat. 6 weeks later and my unit is still running like a top, and I am only out $75 instead of $900 through the other company. This company has earned a customer for life.
Art is probably the most honorable and ethical businessman that I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Our A/C broke down 3 weeks after we purchased our home. Had a different 'big' company come out, charged us for the call, and sent a salesman out to sell us a new unit. We couldn't afford the new unit, and started inquiring of friends of someone that was honest and wouldn't gouge us. Art was recommended, and he spent his entire Sunday, with two trips back across the metro area (from Litchfield, to Florence) to get the necessary parts to fix our unit. This is one man with integrity that I will trust with our home without fail from now on. If you want someone that stands behind their word and their work, call Art Cox.
Most of the places said they were booked out till January. And when I finally found someone, they were ridiculously late and told me "it is gas valve. It will be $736." WHAT??? That's more than the furnace! So I started calling around again, and thankfully I found A Plus Quality HVAC -referred through another provider. They said they could be there in an hour, they were there when they promised, and it wasn't the gas valve at all. Nothing needed to be replaced, just some part that required cleaning/sanding, and the heater was good to go.
He also used a very smart tool called scratchmusic where you can literally choose from thousands of songs from itunes and categorize each song into your ceremony through reception. Both DJ and emcee were fun and professional, you can trust Dan to find you the right person for your special day. Not only is Dan super responsive via email, he's also very reachable on the phone. We had about 2 phone calls with him to walk through everything and he's always on top of everything
They called me back in ten minutes with a same day appointment! Jose came over and went right to work. He did not start complaining about it being an old ancient Furnasaures Rex. He just checked it over very carefully and said he would give it a good tune up, a new thermocoupler ,and another power box would be the only things it needed. Extremely nice person and prices were very reasonable, in comparison to some of these other horror stories you hear about service
I needed to have 2 AC units replaced and some duct work done on my home. After shopping around and getting several estimates I chose Rick and Nick Goettl. Not only did they have the best prices, but they are also fast, efficient, honest, polite and thorough. They let you know exactly what they are doing and how much it will be, no surprises. I am extremely happy with their work. They are the only ones I will call or recommend when it comes to Air conditioning
I used Yelp's request a quote feature with some basic information about the issue. Despite the holiday weekend, Jose messaged me right back saying that he thought he could guide me through the simple repair on the phone. A few calls later the house was warm AND I had learned some basic info about how furnaces work. This is like the opposite of the repair guy coming and saying you need to replace the motherboard for no good reason.
Honest, skilled, fair, and easy to work with... I will definitely use them again. I called Apollo Heating (recommended by my realtor) to fix a broken furnace. Manny answered my call and explained that all good HVAC contractors are very busy during this time. His earliest appointment (which I accepted) was in 5 days. He took the time to discuss my furnace problem and apologized for not being able to look at my problem sooner.
I scheduled an appointment for a technician to come out to look at my mom's old gas furnace in San Francisco. This hunk of junk is nearly 90 years old!! I was expecting to hear the technician say, "ahhhhh...this big piece of tin is on its last leg and needs to be replaced." Expecting to hear this, I psyched myself to already accept that I was going to have to bite the bullet and fork out a good $7,000 to replace.
