KB Drywall
I just want to take a minute to compliment Kenny Began on the exceptional work that patching our water damaged dining room ceiling recently. We had horrible situation where our dining room ceiling became water damaged as a result of our tub in our upstairs bathroom leaking and we didn't know what we're going to do because the texture on the ceiling in our dining room was something that we thought would be very difficult to match. However it was not a problem for Kenny. He was able to quickly patch the hole in the ceiling and to match the texture to a point where we now have difficulty seeing where the damage was done; it blends so nicely. We were also worried when the damage initially took place that it was going to cost a lot to try to fix it, but once again Kenny surprised us with a very reasonable price quote and he was able to deliver high-quality work at a low cost. We couldn't be happier with the job that he did and we would highly recommend him to anyone who needs drywall work done. He is professional, friendly, fast, and reasonably priced!

All Star Drywall & Painting
Like everyone else, I needed a drywaller to fix some considerable water damage I'd had at my house, and didn't know any. I friend told me to call Guy at All Star. He showed up professionally, his people showed up professionally, and I felt that his price was very fair. So I went with them. The job turned out great, textured to match perfectly. I had a couple phone calls to Guy well after business hours before and during the project, and he picked up my calls both times. Bottom line w All Star is this: if you need to make a contractor decision and want to know you'll be happy, treated right, not get ripped off, I just can't imagine not feeling that way if you use All Star. Solid guys.

Other Brothers Construction
My husband and I have hired Other Brothers Construction to do various repairs around our home from fixing a roof that lost some tiles during a dust storm to replacing the vacuum breaking that broke and flood our yard. There hasn't been a job yet they couldn't do for us and our 19 year old house. We appreciate how quickly we have received service after calling for "help." The price paid is worth the service and knowing the job is done right. I have recommended Other Brothers Construction to friends, family and co-workers. They have all experienced the same outstanding service. Other Brothers Construction deserve an A++ rating!!!

All Star Drywall & Painting
I put my faith in Guy G. to repair the drywall holes throughout my home after re-piping the plumbing system. I was concerned how the walls would appear afterwards, as the surface of the walls were textured. It was a large job, with 42 holes approx. throughout. Once Guy completed the job, I could not tell where the holes had actually been! He is a craftsman, for sure. Plus, he was able to start the job a few days earlier, and he was finished quickly, with little or no debris. His work is excellent, and I highly recommend consulting him before you start your drywall jobs.

It was a bit over whelming doing this home but All star made it easier. thanks All star

Bos Management
I did the training and got the keys to my office. Whenever I needed Alejandro and Erika, they were there for me. When I lost it all, they helped me to rebuild and get on my feet and stay there. Even if i wanted to fall they wont let me. They are the realist people I have ever met in my life. I ran my office for the company and about to open my 2nd office. It hurts my heart to see the things people say about such good people. If you need a opportunity come to them and they will show you the way.

Advantage Drywall
Because it seems there are more below average than good contractors here in the Valley of the Sun, I know that research and reviews are important in choosing a drywall contractor for remodeling. These guys had worked on a project for a friend and came highly recommended.I had also received the best estimate from Advantage, so I was a little skeptical. However, the work was done quickly and within the budget estimate. They were also meticulous about clean-up, and I appreciated that.

Mullooly Construction LLC
Mullooly Construction, LLC was hired to do a complete remodeling of my kitchen and laundry. Tim, Angel and Mike did an excellent, professional job from start to finish. They showed up on time daily, completed work in a timely, meticulous fashion and kept the job site tidy. They handled permitting, ordering and more, and consulted me on many details of the project, so I was always "in the loop," meaning there were no surprises. I would highly recommend the firm's services.
Tips & Advices
If there is ever a dispute regarding payment over the course of the project, a contractor or subcontractor could place a payment claim, or lien, on your property. To avoid this, ask the contractor to sign a lien release, which is a legal agreement that states that any payment accepted is final. This can come in handy if a contractor has his or her own payment issues with their subcontractors. Signing a lien release form certifies that any payment made by a client to the contractor is enough to pay for any goods or services rendered.
Absolutely ask. Paying too much up front offers the homeowner minimal leverage if the quality of work does not meet expectations or contractual specifications. Try to establish a reasonable pay schedule, such as paying 10 percent of the total cost for each 10 percent of the work that is completed. Include this payment plan in the contract, as well.
Before any money changes hands, there should be a contract to sign. Make sure the specifics of the work and all costs are listed in the contract, including details. If you forget to have something included in the contract after signing it, there's rarely a chance of recourse.
Ask the contractor for proof of their certification before signing anything, as well as their proof of insurance. You should also check your homeowners insurance policy to see if they offer coverage for contracted work. You may want to call your insurance provider and ask for more details on what your plan will and won't cover.
Yes. Plans for how the work site will be cleaned at the end of each day as well as at the conclusion of work need to be put in writing. An experienced general contractor should make every effort to keep the workspace clean and prevent dirtying or damaging any other area. Even so, talk with the contractor about the daily schedule, the logistics of transporting workers and equipment, and how cleanup will be handled.

Just a moment...
