Los Amigos Auto Salvage
I had them rebuild my transmission when i first received the truck back the speedo did not work and the owner said he had no idea why it wasn't working so I took my truck to a dealer and the said it had the wrong output shaft. So I then called them again and he said to bring it down and made me pay an additional charge for the output shaft witch should have been addressed at the time of the rebuild. I have to spend extra money on checking it checked at a dealer and replace the speed sensor. So after that I drove the truck about 5 times and it started acting up and would redline before it would go into the next gear and would not go into overdrive. So i took it back to them and he checked my truck and said the valve body had got stuck and he also told me he wanted to change my deep dish oil pan back to a stock one because he was not able to find a filter for the deep dish then later told me that on the original rebuild he used the wrong filter and just warped a wire to hold it and he went on to say he didn't want to do that again. So two days later the same thing happened I took it back and he kept it for a week and i just got it back this last time on 10/24/2017 and it is still doing the same thing. I also wanted to add I had to bug him every time for updates and he also kept my truck every time from 3 days to a week. A I had to drop my truck off every time and take an uber back to work. It is my only truck and my only form of transportation so it puts me in a tough spot to have to take it to him and he keeps it for a week and i get it back and it doesn't work again! I talked to another transmission shop and they said they need to take it apart and do another rebuild since he did not go threw the transmission completely if i want it to last.

Los Amigos Auto Salvage
Purchased a rebuilt tranny w 6 mos warranty listed on receipt, 4/27/17. Owner, Mr. Martinez personally made certain I was comfortable & informed with transaction prior to meeting in person. Answered all my questions about sale and integrity of his business. Been in business about 17 years. We have yet to install tranny BUT I am extremely confident that we will not have any issues with the tranny.

Payless Salvage Auto Parts
Hey, I wanted a hard to find Ford Explorer 4x4 2002 complete rear end. They had one, friendly on the phone, we made the deal. When I came in, found the rear end, completely cleaned up, absolutely intact, they gave me a couple tires and wheels so I could move it around in my garage but it was missing the calipers I needed. Either been sold or just removed. Again, very friendly, they arranged to get them from another location and have them drop shipped to my home. Could not have been more pleased.

Tips & Advices
Salvage yards will have different policies regarding warranties, but, in most instances, the parts you find will be covered. Some salvage yards will offer warranties of anywhere from 90 days to six months, and may even offer the option for extended coverage.
After you've successfully found a part or multiple components, take everything up to the clerk. Inform them of what you have and pay. Avoid lying about what you have as a way to pay less. You will potentially be banned if you're found lying. You-pick salvage yards will display the prices for categories of parts. Prices may fluctuate depending on the demand. Harder-to-find items could carry a higher price tag than a brand-new one. If you are salvaging for auto parts, you might see items that are difficult to find and be able to sell them for a profit. Doing so can offset the cost of the price you're paying for the parts you personally need.
It is in your interest to call the salvage yard before arriving to see if they sell smaller components individually, because some yards do not. Some owners choose to not sell small components for financial reasons.  If salvage lots come across a door without the handle, they will have to pay extra to get the handle and attach it to the entire assembly. It is therefore cost-effective for salvage lots to sell entire assemblies.
When rummaging through a car or walking around the lot, stay aware of your surroundings. Remember, you aren't the only visitor looking to salvage parts. Other individuals are also looking for components, and not everyone works as safely as possible. If you find a car you'd like to inspect, make sure working conditions are suitable, and if anything looks suspicious or dangerous, find a safer vehicle to tear apart.
