Gios Automotive
What can I say about Gio's auto repair besides AWESOME!! The hardest community resource to find is a good mechanic. I was lucky enough to find an excellent mechanic shop in the most unlikely of places.Jane and Juan of Gio's Auto Care are by for the most honest people in their field. I'm no spring chicken, meaning I've been around the block a few times and I have rarely come across such an honest and fairly priced mechanic shop. This place is on Cave Creek Road, so it's not one of those polished Scottsdale type mechanic shops, but if you're looking for showgirls and a nice place to bring to the family to hang out, this is NOT the place. However, if you're car needs work done and you don't want your bank account to get drained like a dirty swimming pool, this IS the place to bring your car. I recommend them every time I hear someone needs a good mechanic. The head mechanic Juan is like a car whisperer. He's able to diagnose and get your problem resolved in way like he's able

Dr Spray Paint & Body (Earl Scheib Rebranding)
Fabulous job! I bought the Economy Special for $249 at Earl Scheib. Dave was thorough in explaining exactly what he would do for $249. I paid slightly extra to have panels sanded, but saved a lot of money compared to another quote I had received. (Another company quoted an unaffordable price of $800.) I had almost given up on having the car painted, until I found Dave. He did an excellent job on my Honda, and had it ready within 2-business days. Now, the car looks new. I recommend Dave because he gave the best price, did the work promptly, and his workmanship is excellent. Update: When I rang to thank Dave, for the brilliant job he did, he told me that he worked in California for Earl Scheib and helped run 80 shops. I am astonished with the color and workmanship and recommend Dave to anyone who needs a vehicle painted.

Chapman Bell Road Imports
I bought my first newish car there at Chapman Bell, my sales guy Mike Knox, was the finest example of integrity I have ever experienced. Two months later I had an oil change from my family mechanic, who spotted a minor fix, I contacted George, who was Super sweet and empathetic, put me in contact with Justin, the service Manger. I brought my car in today, Justin was pleasant, professional, and very kind. talked me through the situation, and went over and above the call of duty to take care of my car needs. I assure you, I have found my dealership for life!!! Thank You Chapman Bell!!! You have put Integrity and excellence on the map, as the best dealership in Town!!!!!!!

Unique Dent Removal
Quin Adams has the most desirable quality in a professional - honesty! I put a dent in my Sebring on the LR fender between the tail light and the gas cap. The body shop estimated between $1000-1500 for the replacement of the quarter panel. Quin came to my house. He said the repair was too extensive to do on site and could I bring it to his shop. Once there, Quin explained the proper way to do the repair would be to replace the quarter panel but he would try to knock out the dent and at least make it look better. Well!! When the job was finished, two hours later, I could barely tell any damage had been there. The cost? $225.

Best Deal Auto Body
After Best Deal Auto Body was recommended twice,it was a no brainer to take my Audi in to them. Even though my "baby" isn't brand new anymore, I still like it to look that way. They not only did a FANTASTIC repair job, but as a bonus they paid or "waived" part of my deductible too! (who does that). This auto body shop is so Good, I will be the next person to Highly recommend them with confidence.

Select Auto Body
Had a tow hook cover painted for my sisters VW. typical VW white. $15 part costs $59 to paintBreakdown$4-misc.$24-labor-body$19-labor refinish$12-paintThe cover has small black flakes embedded into the paint and minor surface defects. Not worth the money. Should have taken advice and painted it myself for $60. My sister has now decided against painting her bumpers and mirror covers at this shop.

Dr Spray Paint & Body (Earl Scheib Rebranding)
Earl Sheib Paint & Body does a great job here in Tucson. The manager assured me that he is the last inspector of the vehicles when it leaves, so I wouldn’t have to worry about the quality. I’ve done three cars in the last three months, and now I tell everybody about them. My neighbors, coworkers and friend ask about where I get the work done at because they did such an excellent job.

Dr Spray Paint & Body (Earl Scheib Rebranding)
Beyond Awesome!!! I had my Audi painted here and the price was near unbelievable. The car looked great but had 2 minor flaws and for the price I paid I half expected them to say “oh well” but they totally repainted the whole thing free! I cannot speak any higher of them! For the price, this is the best bang for your buck and it’s one thousand times more than you could ask for.

Eclipse Auto Body
I cannot say enough GOOD about Eclipse Auto Body. They not only repaired the damages I requested but also took the dings out of two other areas. They were timely in getting my car repaired and even had it detailed for me. They provided me with a ride when I dropped it off and to pick it up when completed. They were awesome to work with and delivered wonderful workmanship.
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
