I was always taught that you treat others as you would want to be treated. I experienced this lesson first hand on September 1-2, 2015 through your service department and awesome employees. On August 31st, my mother and I left SC on a road trip to visit her older sisters in Philadelphia. When we arrived in Hershey, my mother thought she heard a noise coming from the front passenger side wheel. Initially, I did not hear the noise. After touring the Hershey Chocolate Factory, we hit the road and headed to Lancaster, PA. It was then, that I began to hear some noise. The noise began to gradually get worse and I began to feel it. Of course, I felt frustrated, disheartened and didn't know what to do after trying to seeking assistance from two other dealerships. I knew something major was wrong and didn't know how long it would be before my vehicle would stop operating or become unsafe to drive. After praying, calming myself and determining the next plan of action, I found your dealership and was fortunate/blessed that the operator transferred my call to the service department and the Service Manager, Danny, whom I describe as my angel on earth. I shared the above story with him and he said something that gave me hope that someone was willing to take the time to assist me. He said that he didn't know whether he could help, but if it was his mother, daughter or sister, he wouldn't want them stranded while traveling and asked that I bring the vehicle to the service department to at least be checked to make sure it was safe to drive. I arrived at 6:00 PM and he was assisting another family but made me feel at eased that I was in the right place. I realized while talking to him that Danny was one in a million. He has the gift and skills of excellent customer service and empathy for his customers. These qualities are hard to find in our fast paste and sometimes uncaring, non-flexible and unaccommodating world. Danny contacted me on September 2nd with great news. The problem was the right front hub bearing assembly needed to be replaced. He explained the cost and procedures. While waiting to pick up my vehicle, I observed customers interacting with Danny and realized that his character, personality, attention to detail and rapport with customers and fellow employees has allowed him to establish a community in the service department in which customers feel welcomed and cared for and are not afraid to communicate their needs, give compliments and thanks to the service department employees. What I experienced and observed can only happen when a company/team has established a culture and environment in which all stakeholders are valued, appreciated and respected. My mother and I arrived safely back home in SC. The Equinox sounds and drives great! Once again, I thank your company, the Gordon Chevrolet family, Danny and the entire service department.

Nigro's Auto Body Repair
I brought my 2005 Subaru Legacy to Nigro's Auto Body to repair the damaged rear quarter panel.  Back in December, my car was sideswiped while parked on the street in my neighborhood (thank you to whoever did it because I just happened to have $500 lying around that I was dying to throw away).  I had my insurance company look at the damage and provide me with an estimate.A couple of weeks ago, I brought my car to Nigro's after reading a lot of great reviews.  I was greeted by Domenico who looked over my car and the insurance estimate.  He told me that my insurance company cut a lot of corners in their estimate, and that the repairs would be significantly more, but he would take care of everything.  Exactly as promised, he worked with my insurance company and the repairs were re-estimated to be significantly more than the original estimate. When I asked him about also fixing up the scratches on my fender from all the years in the city, he strongly advised against it.  When asked why, he said told me he would feel guilty taking my money to fix them since they will only get scratched again.  Instead, he suggested doing a touch up which would cost significantly less.Everything turned out amazing. You cannot tell that my car was ever damaged, and the paint was perfectly blended. They even did a couple of small bonus items for me without ever mentioning it to me until after I got home. On top of that, they completely cleaned my car, inside and out.In summary, I had a great experience with Nigro's Auto Body.  Domenico's experience proved invaluable since it helped me get my car fix the right way. Their customer service is great and their workmanship is amazing. If you want your car fixed the right way, I highly recommend Nigro’s!

Empire Motors Auto Sales
Their first review is not going to be good. I saw one of their cars in CarGurus and Craigslist. It looked great and appeared to be priced right. It had a clean carfax and was a one owner car. This was rare for a 2006. I test drove it and it seemed to ride good and from outward inspection everything seemed ok. I followed up with 2 local shops. The first was for a "going over" and oil change. The going over was not that good. It needed front brakes and rotors. It had a bad front tire and 2 different sized tires on the back. This visit cost me about $1100. The next was to a Mercedes service center (not a dealer). This is where it gets expensive. It needed a cabin temperature sensor since there was no in between settings of the heat or AC. It was either full AC or full heat. It also needed the outside door handle with the electronics for the keyless Go system. The passenger door worked but the drivers door did not. Both of these parts are on order from Germany for $720 plus installation. The convertible room and power trunk stopped working after 2 days. That needed 2 control relays. That was over $600. All in all, I do love this car. Hopefully, this will be the end of the issues. I just wish I knew about them prior to buying the car. It would have made a difference on how much I was willing to pay for it.

DeSimone Auto Group Philadelphia
Sooo, I had my very 1st real accident two weeks ago. :^((( I was in Center City and the shop couldn't be closer. After handling all of the business with the cops - I was free to go But I didn't know what to do. I couldn't drive the car. I was hit on my right side door, bumper & tire! I'm stressed, late for work & worried sick... The tow truck driver was there in NOOOO time..... even before the cops (SMH!). My car was towed, The lady running the front desk Alison took care of me from there! She dealt with the insurance company, me & provided car updates, as I waited with supplied coffee, bagels with cream cheese ( I'm hungry when stressed...heeheee). Even though, they couldn't verify my Insurance - the OWNER still entrusted me with a rental car that day! I was so appreciative. My car insurance situation was resolved & they requested I get a different car. So Alison took car of the switch from one car to another without any effort or concern from me. I just had to be there. My CAR LOOKS AMAZING and it run like new again!! - 2013 Toyota. Sorry Alison, but if I every have another accident - I will need you to hold my hand again.Thank you for your general support, concern & care!

Reds & Son Foreign Car Repair
I bought a 28 year old Porsche that needed a lot of work: motor mounts, electrical work, front and rear wheel bearings, parking brake, wiper switch assembly, tires, and lots of smaller things needed to get the vehicle into shape for Pennsylvania inspection. Porsches, especially old ones, aren't easy to work on. Reds & Sons did a terrific job. All repairs were done perfectly and on time. Gus stayed in touch by phone to keep me posted on what was happening as he and Greg worked though the repairs. It's clear that they have a lot of experience with cars, especially European cars. They know a lot. They didn't repair anything that didn't need repairing. The bill was reasonable, especially considering how much work the car needed. The car now drives beautifully. The Center City location (N. 13th Street at Callowhill) is very convenient to people living in the city. I'll continue to take my car to Reds. If you want your car repair and maintenance work done correctly by knowledgeable, courteous, and competent professionals, go to Reds. Your car will be in good hands.

PA Auto Sales
In early October 2016 i found a 2008 Ford F250 on Cargurus. I sent an email stating that I was interested in the vehicle and i was contacted the very next morning by Rob. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Between Robs friendly service and Igor really going the distance to get me not only financed but to really work with my lousy credit and figure out a way to get me a damn good rate for the position i was in. I drove away in the truck in under two hours total. They said the vehicle had been at one of the storage areas and hadnt been detailed fully yet but if i brought it back the next day they could get it cleaned up while i waited. Being a used vehicle it did have a few minor problems over the next two months but the staff at PA auto stood by me and the vehicle and worked to have all problems resolved fast and easy. Not only would i recommend going here but i plan to return for myself and have referred friends and family. Start to finish just a great place and extremely professional staff.

I came in to lease a chevy trax because at this time financialy I cannot afford the payments of a new car and did not want to purchase a used car,so my daughter who leases her vehicle convinced me to try leasing, my car was 14 years old and was starting to cost me money every time I had inspection and as a single women breaking down once on the ac expressway was enough. I found the salesman Sam to be extremley helpful in trying to get me to a price I can afford but ran into trouble when my credit score was low , I left disappointed but did come back on Monday to ask if my mother could co sign for my lease , Sam did get his boss involved and Steve found out that the finance dept had my mortgage payment mixed up with my monthly salary, if he didn t take the extra time to check this I would have left disappointed again but instead I drove out of the dealership with a new car and good price!! Thank You,Kathleen

First Class Auto Land
needed a car. I found one online and to get prices, i submitted my email. The next morning I got a call from the Car Store asking if I was interested in the car. As i had just had a bad experience driving an hour and a half away for a car and upon getting there finding out that they closed early, I was not keen to driving out to Philly if it wasn't serious. Upon telling this story I was told the best news ever, that they were willing to bring the car out to me for test drives and would even let me rent it for a few days if i needed to. They came to my complex and we signed papers on the hood! As far as their partnerships with the banks on loans, they were all over making sure that if one bank didn't work, they would find me one that did and they nailed it on the first try. They were super nice and great to work with! 5 stars!

Nigro's Auto Body Repair
If you're looking for reliable, honest, and superior workmanship, I would definitely recommend Nigro's Auto Body to anyone. While in the Philadelphia area for a sports event, I was involved in an accident. I had no idea where to have my car towed, so I checked out YP Yellow pages and picked Nigro's based on all of their positive reviews. One of the best picks I ever made. THE REVIEWS DON:T LIE!!! Dominic and everyone I dealt with was great from the minute my car entered their shop. Kept me informed on the damage, repair updates, explained any questions I had, and they really do take pride in making sure your car if fully restored to pre-accident condition. from start to finish and I can't wait to pick up my car tomorrow. Highly recommended - great body work and super friendly people. Laurie W.

After an exhaustive search to replace my vintage Corolla Wagon, destroyed in an accident in front of my house, I had given up hope of finding a replacement. Without much money, my choices were limited and I found lots of really awful cars on craigslist, etc. Randomly, I found this place in and they were amazing! They had a decent inventory, and encouraged me to take it home and have a mechanic check it out. Today I purchased a 94 Subaru wagon which met my criteria, was approved by my mechanic and all at a price I could afford! In a world full of shady car dealers and scary people from craigslist, it was a relief to find a local place that was honest, fair and easy to work with. This was one of the easiest car purchases I have ever made!
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
