Parish Jennifer L Doctor of Medicine
I saw Dr. Jennifer today. She is not all warm and fuzzy but who cares? She is not rude or mean, just very down to business. That is her personality. Give the lady a break. Check out her educationally background, that is what matters. Her background is very impressive. I did not go to see her for a social visit. I had very little wait, much less than I expected. The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant. I did not know what to expect and I was impressed.

Clean & Sober Residence
I had been to many recovery places before I got here. I was impressed with the computer laboratory and the comfortable bedrooms with cable and televisions. The therapist here, Dennis, helped me get on the right track and I looked forward to meeting him privately on Saturdays. These people got me on my feet. I just got my own Section 8 and I'm now working. The owner personally helped me get my job and helped with my paperwork for my apartment.

Philadelphia Addiction Center
Amazing result. I’ve been drinking for years. I did want to quit, but I could not. Dr. Tsan changed my life. After the very first visit to Philadelphia Addiction Center, I stopped drinking. The treatment lasted for 6 weeks and in the end, the doc implanted an Esperal chip in my shoulder. I heard a lot about this implant, but could not even imagine it works like this. 5 months passed, no urges, no cravings, and no problem. Thank you, doc.

The staff at the laser techs is very personable and professional making my experience an even better one. The facility was immaculate as well as relaxing. I had a laser Brazilian (permanent hair removal) and I am extremely satisfied. If anyone is looking for a med spa that performs permanent hair removal, tattoo removal as well as many other procedures they perform..please visit their website The Laser Techs.

Philadelphia Addiction Center
There are 2 years since I have an esperal implant for alcohol addiction and though it’s a long time, I think, I owe a little say. For some reason, we write reviews only when we are upset and always forget to write when we are happy. Though , I write reviews very rare, I decided to do so now. Do yourself favor and go for it if you can’t manage it on your own. Great doctor, great office, great service.

Dr. Douglas W Laske, MD
Dr. Laske was calm and thoughtful, he didn't rush me and he answered all of my questions with care and patience. I loved his PA, Bruce as well. They both made me feel very safe and I truest him to take good care of my neck. He didn't rush to surgery either, in fact he wants to have that as the last option. I highly recommend him!Tara KlingesOwner of Heather Bleu Home boutique in Doylestown, Pa

Jefferson Surgical Ctr
Dr. Isenberg is not a people person but I didn't continue to go to him based on his personality but expertise in rectal prolapse. I had a prolapse in 2003, surgery went well, prolapsed again in 2011, following up w/new surgery w/Dr. in San Francisco which is the closest specialized hospital in my current area.
Tips & Advices
Academic medical centers provide the widest range of specialty care treatments, including the latest technological advances, clinical trials, and surgical techniques. In general, an academic medical center is a better choice than a community hospital for complicated treatments or rare diseases. Pediatric intensive care, especially, is usually performed at academic medical centers.
Academic medical centers offer a broad range of specialized services, from allergists to urologists. Some of the larger medical centers have entire hospitals or clinics focused on a particular medical service, such as cancer treatment, though specialties vary among the centers. Patients whose community hospital or local doctors do not have the facilities or expertise to address complex medical conditions can be referred by their primary care physician or local specialist to a major medical center (there are more than a dozen in the United States).
Yes. In addition to their inpatient hospital services, medical centers can offer a wide variety of outpatient services, such as pain clinics, rehabilitation centers, surgery, imaging and laboratory, mental health treatment, and outpatient cancer treatment. Medical groups – doctors in private practice but affiliated with the medical center--will also have offices within the medical center.
Physicians, nurses, physician’s assistants, residents, and attending physicians makeup the clinical staff of an academic medical center.
Medical center accreditation is not required, but most centers work voluntarily toward accreditation because it represents higher standards of healthcare quality and patient safety.
