YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

We have 3 dogs, a Boxer, a German Shepherd and a Brussels Griffon. We live in So. Phila, but travel to Halo House because we are more than happy with them. The runs are large and I LOVE that they are indoor/outdoor runs, and all three can stay in a large suite and remain together. They come home clean and happy. When they see me packing their food for a stay, they are so excited and can't wait to get there!!! Would highly recommend Halo House and have done so.

6.Best Behavior Canine Training
34 Hunters Way
So You’ve Acquired a New Puppy, What’s Next?? Our goal at Best Behavior is to work with you and your dog and together transform him into the perfect canine companion that comes consistently when you call, doesn’t jump up, walks nicely on leash without pulling to name just a few. Whether you have a new puppy or an adult dog with a behavior problem or two, we can help turn things around for you. All dogs really do want to please but they are not born knowing right from wrong; it is up to us, their loving human guardians, to teach them. We can guide you into knowing the correct ways to work with your dog to achieve that end result—a truly harmonious human-canine bond that goes beyond description. Our methods are always and only positive reinforcement based. As opposed to compulsion-based methods, when dogs are allowed to think responses through themselves, there is a proven higher retention rate created through mutual respect. We concentrate on teaching your dog, as well as teaching you, so that you have the skills and knowledge needed to consistently reinforce between sessions the behaviors he’ll be learning. We also teach you how to use PRAISE effectively (very important) to help your dog maintain a high enthusiasm level which enables him to continue working to please you. Entrust us to get your puppy off on the right paw or your adult dog back on track and look forward to a highly rewarding lifelong relationship with your best canine companion. We are opposed to and do not use any tools or collars such as prong, choke or electronic that can create a fear or pain-driven response. Dog Obedience and Behavior Training At Its Best!
7.Pet Sitting by Fran
8.Top Tails Pet Sitting SVC
103 Cotton St
I've used the place twice now for my cat Pepper. Two different sitters, but both are excellent. Not only did they feed my cat and clean his litter box, but my cat loves company and they provided the company my cat needs. When I got back, my cat wasn't so starved and needy, because he got the attention he wanted from TopTails. What I really loved was the notes that wrote upon every visit. The notes described what happened on each visit and you can tell they did the job, because the descripitions of my cat were very accurate. I read them, ""Yes this is how Pepper would react in this situation!"" Its easy to set up appointment, just do it online and very cheap and affordable. They do a great job at a low price, but best of all, your pets get the TLC they need.

We have boarded our 2 dogs many times since this facility became available under the present management. We have always been delighted with the attention they received from the staff. They have been boarded here for as long as 10 days at a time. The facility is very clean and well organized; the dogs seem happy to be there. Jared, the manager, is painstaking, detail oriented, and kind. We've always been able to leave them there knowing that they were happy and in competent, caring hands. I would highly recommend this facility for boarding, daycare, or grooming services.

20.Caring For Cats
100 Leverington Ave Ste 1
I moved to Philadelphia 4.5 years ago and moved to my current neighborhood a year ago. it was then, I discovered Dr Guth's Caring for Cats practice in Manayunk neighborhood. I was searching for a Vet closer to my new neighborhood and did a search right here - I chose Caring for Cats because it is a practice for Cats only. I have only taken my cats to animal hospitals that treat both cats and dogs. Dr Guth, is very caring, compassionate, friendly and knowledgeable. her staff too, is very caring and friendly, as well. All 3 of my Cats have seen Dr Guth and are much calmer when going for their vet visits. I highly recommend Caring for Cats. The Hours are reasonable: Open 6 days a week, with 2 late nights until 7pm on Mon and Thurs. Also, the prices are reasonable for exams and lab work. The only con I can see is she is not set up to do surgeries. So, she will do all the lab work needed and refer you to metropolitan or UPenn for the suergical procedures.
21.Central Bark Doggy Day Care
2001 S 29th St Ste 5
I highly, highly recommend Central Bark! My Star girl was abused as a very young puppy and was very timid, among other things. The staff worked with her and she has really come out of her shell. She so looks forward to going that she tortures me in the morning (somehow she knows what day(s) we are going). With everybody's hectic work/life schedules, and our babies are not getting the attention or exercise they need, there's nothing better than Central Bark.

3502 Scotts Ln Ste D12
We are in love with East Paws -- we had been searching for the perfect dog care place and tried a bunch, but this has been the best for our dog, Oscar. The people at East Paws really have a connection with him and he loves going there. When we've been to other dog care places he'll try to run back out to come home with us, that never happens at East Paws. As soon as he sees Susan (the owner), he runs straight to her. We used East Paws for about a year before moving to New York. Even now, when we go on long trips, it's worth the dropping Oscar off at East Paws because we know he's going to enjoy himself and we'll feel confident that he's with caring and competent caretakers.
24.Philadelphia Pet Adventures
6631 Ross St
I love Philadelphia Pet Adventures, and so does my dog. They do daily walks while my husband and I are at work and they are trustworthy, reliable, and reasonably priced. They even offer a discount for frequent customers (those who use them on a monthly basis, each workday). In addition to walking services, they offer ""Pet Adventures"" - which are truly great if you have a puppy (like I do) who needs more exercise than just a regular walk. I've worked with Katie, one of the owners, and M.E. (Mary Elizabeth), and my dog has a crush on both of them. If you need a dog-walker or pet-sitter, this is the way to go!
25.Romp Pet Care
I hired this company to watch my Australian Terrier puppy. To say that I'm a high-strung puppy mom is putting it lightly! I didn't think I would ever find a sitter that met my standards, but alas Romp! They will treat your dog like their own, and you can have peace of mind knowing your little gal or fella is in great hands. They are professional, courteous and follow instructions to a T, (even if they are 5 pages long!). I highly reccommend this company.
2360 W Oregon Ave
I was very disappointed in the grooming of my pet, all he had was a puppy cut and his paws were not even done correctly some areas are short and some still long. I know he is a puppy and very jumpy but I would of thought someone could of helped for a minute to trim his facial area which he was deeply in need of. Maybe because I had a free coupon from a book that I purchased and that played a part in the cut.
